Let’s chat about IVDD….. Dachshunds are so super cute, but unfortunately so many of them are faced with IVDD in their lifetime. 🐶😨
I find lots of Dachshund owners are simply unaware of this type of disease until they are at the vet having it treated!
As something we Vet Nurses know as our everyday knowledge, pet owners do not. It is also our role to educate pet owners. It’s a great discussion to have and even encouraging owners to seek pet insurance to avoid any unexpected vet bills that come along with breed specific injuries or diseases.
