As many of you would know we saw our last little cats and dogs after 40 years of providing Veterinary care in Redbank plains and surrounding areas.
It is with great sadness that I had to let it go and I want to thank all our faithful clients some of whom knew Doctor Hans and then Dr Danny as well as several wonderful locum vets.
I will miss you coming and enjoying this place which Hans and I always tried to make more than a place where pets were treated and helped. We tried to provide a place where clients could share their lives with us- have a laugh at the antics of the pets and have a cry when they had to say goodbye to them.
I hope you have many happy memories and that you will stop in to say hello and catch us up on your pets, from time to time.
God bless you all as a new chapter starts for all of us. Thank you again for being part of our lives.

To all our long term patients, we are trying to reach out ASAP individually but there's a lot of you! If anyone has a pet on continuing medication, please contact us by the 19th September so we can get your prescription filled before then. After this time we may have difficulty doing so - but we'll do our best! Food and flea products are also on sale so come down and grab a bargain :D

It has been a difficult and stressful decision to have to close after 40 years but there are other good vet surgeries in the area who I believe will serve you well.God bless you all. 40 years ago Hans Wolfik, Veterinary Surgeon, started Bellbird Park Veterinary Surgery at our home, renaming it Redbank Plains Vet Surgery 10 years later. He was honest, hardworking, serving clients after-hours ( even on Christmas Day!), and always lived by his Christian principles showing compassion and generosity to all his clients.
After 30 years of running the practice, he passed away on September 14th 2014 after a sudden brain haemorrhage. Along with my faithful, supportive staff, I have kept the surgery serving the community from our peaceful acreage amidst rapid growth with houses and schools right next door for the past ten years.
However it is with great sadness and regret that I now have to close the practice at the end of September.
We will have Dr Danny until the 14 th and Dr Justin and Dr Chantal until the end of September and we will do our best to fit everyone in for your vaccinations, surgeries and all other needs. Get in quickly if you would like Dr Danny to do any complicated surgeries or treatments you might have been putting off.
We will keep you posted of any changes and please phone us if you have any questions or if you need petfood or over the counter products ordered.
I want to thank all of you very sincerely for supporting this practice, especially over the last 10 years. I will miss seeing you all coming and meeting some of your special pets.
Please pop in and say hello even if you don’t need an appointment in the next few weeks.
