💚💙We are still desperately searching a Foster/Foster to Adopt still needed for Vaporeon 💚💙
Vaporeon (or Ronnie as we have been calling her) is a 2 yr old cattle dog/wolfhound cross.
She is an extremely loving and social dog, who loves cuddles and playing with people. She wants to make friends with everyone she meets and loves when new people come to visit.
She is completely toilet trained, and sleeps all night in her crate (but will come into bed with you in the morning for cuddles if you’ll let her)
She is very food motivated, she is starting to learn not to steal food from counters but will still make attempts if she gets the opportunity.
She loves long walks/hikes and does not tire easily, but is also happy to relax on the couch at the end of the day (and will sit on top of you for cuddles).
Would likely suit an active home with older kids/teenagers - as she is so tall and loves jumping up on people to greet them.
She is still getting used to walking on the leash but has improved a lot over the past few weeks, and is a fast learner. She has encountered one cat so far, who she was not a fan of.
Other dogs can be hit and miss, she is unbothered by some but will bark at others.
She has an enormous amount of love to give, and will make a perfect companion for the right person.
If you have the time, room, another doggy friend and an active life, Vaporeon may be the girl for you!

💚💙 Available for Adoption "Han Solo" 💚💙
Han solo is a handsome man who gets attention and compliments wherever he goes. He is a 6 year old English x American Staffy.
He enjoys going on adventures with you both in the car and on foot, always being eager to meet and say hi to new friends.
He walks well on the lead while staying on your left side and will walk comfortably at any pace you choose. He does not become distracted by his fellow doggy companion.
Han solo will need to go to a family where he will have another friendly doggy companion. One who is calm but also up for the occasional play and wrestle.
Ideally they will allow him to snuggle up with him and happily share a bed and toys.
He has shown no signs of resource guarding.
He is toilet trained and knows basic commands, showing promise to learn even more with some patience and training. He is a smart boy who only wants your love and approval.
Han solo is a gentle and affectionate boy. If allowed he will snuggle in bed with you and make his way under the doona (he does feel the cold), where he will snore away happily until you wake up.
Han solo requires a special diet. So far dehydrated chicken breasts are what works best for training and rewards, and he is gentle while taking them from your hand.
He has that gorgeous staffy talk when he wants your attention. He adapts well to a routine and will let you know if its getting close to dinner or walk times. He has the cutest little wiggly body and can surprise you with the speed of his zoomies.
Han solos ideal family will be one where he is an indoor mostly dog with another doggy companion, and humans who are patient, kind, and reassuring. With time he will form a very close bond and settle in perfectly to the right home.
He can be destructive if left home alone. In foster care, once a strong bond was formed with his foster brother, he was happily left home without any humans (as long as he has his foster brother). He has consistently proven himself to be the best boy who deserves a wonderful life.
Han solo has recently had his tail docked as a malignant tumour was found on it. He has since had a CT scan and there is a very low chance of cancer appearing in the near future.
Han solo currently lives with 4 children from the ages of 6 to 15 and is awesome with all of them.
If you Are home a majority of the time, must have another doggy friend and a ton of love to give, Han Solo might be your guy!

My name is Albus Dumbledore, but you can call me Alph, I'm a 4 year old Siberian Husky with stunning features.
Everyone who sees me wants to take me home or adopt me, but the Mornington Peninsula Dog Rescue Incorporated is very adamant that I will only go to a home that has owned Arctic Breeds before. This is because, we can be stubborn and require a very confident leader. I am not suitable for the first time dog owner as I will challenge you and push my boundaries as we Huskies are known for.
I am a social guy, but would prefer an only pet home. In this environment, I can have my bed to myself, my people to myself and all the love to myself. I do love to play with other dogs, but can be selective with no apparent rhyme or reason.
It goes without saying that fencing will need to be Husky proof, which means 6ft plus, but also digproof!
I will need an active home with children 10 years and above, as, although I am great with kids, I do forget my size sometimes and will bowl them over.chidren head height with me might get a nip on the ear.
I am an affectionate, very talkative boy who also likes his independence and alone time.
No cats or pocket pets either, I must be the only pet in your home please. I will also need a family who spends a majority of their time at home. Four hours alone is my maximum.
Have you previously owned Huskies, Malamutes or similar? and do you have an active home that can include Albus Dumbledore? Are you a family looking for an only dog and have the confidence to be his leader? If so, he is waiting patiently for you!

💚💙 Wonderful Update for Nymphadora Tonks (now Jessie) to Shane and Sarah her foster carers ❤️ 💚💙 Happy foster Father’s Day Shane! But not to outshine dads of this world , but it also happens to be My 2nd Birthday today !! So let me show you what I have learnt , and some presents I received for being such a good girl ! I have received a brand new ( 3rd) dog bed - which I have let my sister lie on as I keep destroying my other ones. Hopefully I love this one more and am happy to keep it. I also received some balls , and got a doggie cake cooked for my sister and I to share. Love from Jessie x But most of all I hope you have a fantastic day - and wanted to thank you both for trusting us to have such an amazing pupster. She is going through some terrible twos , but she still is awesome at giving cuddles , and is loved by our family and her doggy school trainers. She has excelled at class and loves learning new things so much , that I have now enrolled her in the trick classes in a few weeks time.
