Meet Veterinary Nurse Louise!

"I started working at Chatswood Vet in April 2024 so I am still relatively new here, but I have worked as a Veterinary Nurse for almost 15 years.

Animals have always been a big passion of mine. I love caring for and being the voice of our beloved pets so becoming a Veterinary Nurse is definitely my calling.
I did my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at TAFE in 2011.

I have a 5 year old cavoodle named Hugo. He is the sweetest, most sensitive little man and very spoilt!"

Your pets are so lucky to have such an experienced vet nurse on board - be sure to say hi when you stop by!

Last week we bid farewell to our training Vet Nurse Assistant, Paige. Paige has been a joy to have in the clinic with her sunny smile and passion to learn and help our patients.

This ANZAC Day we remember the service of the Australian Armed Forces throughout history - and the animals that served and acted as companions to these brave individuals.

On the 3rd of May 1918 a Doberman was coaxed into the 13th Battalion lines by Australian soldiers at Villers-Bretonneux in France. Tied around his neck was a message carrier - in it were messages from German soldiers. The one message mentioned his name - Roff. Roff helped to pull stores for the Australian soldiers and he was cared for until he was eventually brought back to Australia in 1919.
