Handler Marinated Chicken Drumettes

Drumettes look like drumsticks, but they’re actually what connects the wings to the body. They are also the meatiest parts of the wings, and available in the chilled section. We have 2 marinades:
🌶Spicy Buffalo
🍯Honey Soy
They are such an easy footy finals snack - simply throw straight from the pack onto a lined baking tray, into a pre-heated oven (160 C) for 30-40 minutes, or until the meat falls off the bone. For extra crunch, crank up the temperature to 200 C for the last 10 minutes.

This small independent brewer in Marrickville makes alcohol-free beer that tastes suspiciously like…beer.

Honestly, we cannot tell the difference with regular beer (but we certainly can tell the difference after 3 or 4 cans, in a good way!). Heaps Normal only started in 2020, and are now stocked in over 3000 venues across Australia – no mean feat.

Best of all, their beer only contains water, malt, hops and yeast. No preservatives. There are traces of alcohol, but no more than you’ll find in very ripe bananas (yes true!).

Will banana prices come down?🍌

Normally this time of year, we start getting fruit from Coffs Harbour – but the cool and wet winter they’ve had up there means a delay for at least a month.

Banana prices have remained high for 2 reasons:

1) The closure of a major banana farm in North Queensland
2) An unseasonal wet winter in both growing regions (North Queensland and Northern NSW)

Banana prices will gradually come down over the next few months – provided there are no adverse weather conditions, and we're keeping our fingers crossed for our Aussie Farmers.

One of our growers (Neki) is showing some of his fruit last week.

This week's Imperial Mandarins from growers in Tumut, NSW at were so fresh - the leaves still attached to the stems were soft and green. I simply had to photograph them!

You might see these types of glorious images in the "Majors" catalogues, but it's unlikely you'll get that type of fresh produce off the shelf.
