It's Management Monday! Do you know Heather, our Hospital Administrator?

Heather graduated with honours from Seneca College in 2000 and began working as an RVT right away. Within a few years, she grew into a lead RVT role and eventually into hospital management. From 2008-2018, Heather helped to open and lead a brand new Oncology Service where she developed her passion for supporting her clients and her colleagues, realizing just how important and fulfilling these relationships are.

Heather has most recently worked as a Technical Manager and Assistant General Manager in a busy multispecialty and ER practice, and has spent time as the Hospital Director in an extended hours primary care Hospital as well.

With her love for Specialty and Emergency medicine, as well as her passion for continual growth, Heather loves being a part of the BVERH team as our Hospital Administrator.

Heather thrives on building meaningful relationships, and fostering a respectful, friendly and welcoming environment for all. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing sports and being out in nature. Her #1 hobby, however, is spoiling her handsome doggo, named Lou.

It's Management Monday! Have you met our amazing Technical Manager, Mykhailo?

Mykhailo brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the BVERH team. He is always learning and prides himself with always doing the absolute best. Mykhailo extends that pride and standard of care to our entire team and we are thrilled to have him at BVERH.
Mykhailo, a DVM in Ukraine, has also completed the Animal Care Attendant program from Sheridan College in Ontario and earned his Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) diploma from Lakeland College in Alberta. He has experience in many specialty services including surgery, ophthalmology and diagnostic imaging as well as in emergency medicine.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mykhailo loves spending time with his wife, their 2 kids, and their 2 cats! They love to travel and can’t wait for their next adventure!
