Several years ago, a volunteer was TASKED to set up our Project PAL page. As we just found out, she kept control of the page as the “creator” and this week she decided to use this authority unliterally to shut us out of our own page. We are now operating on this REVISED page.

She’s about 10 months old and has a goofy personality.
Very playful and would love a home with other fur babies.
She has facial paralysis on her right side. It does not affect her quality of life except she is unable to close her right eye.

Another horrible story that will have a happy ending.

What human being could do the harm to this 5 month old puppy is beyond me.

If you see this picture, please get help.There is no excuse, no reason, that someone would harm a puppy to the extent this puppy was harmed.

Thank you to the person who made the call, the team members that rescued this baby and rushed him to Fish Creek Emergency. Big thank you to the great doctors and staff at Fish Creek.

Great big thank you to the fosters who stepped up to take this puppy for recovery and to ensure this puppy will never endure cruelty, pain and suffering again.

1st surgery went very well, but there are 1 maybe 2 more major surgeries to remove what is left of one eye and to save the other eye.

This is a message to the offender. No one could possibly lose their patients with life and the world to the extent that you have to harm an innocent dog. If you feel the system has failed you, then take time to make change.

It is with sadness, sorrow but with calmness in our hearts that we share that founding member, friend and animal protector, Darlene Henderson passed away this morning, after a very lengthy battle with illness.

We could always count on Darlene at any time of the day or night, when we were in a pinch with an animal that needed immediate shelter.

The animal spirit world welcomes you with open arms.
RIP Darlene.

Thank you for the person who painted these two crates for us to put on our site for sale so we can continue helping the animals.. I just picked them up, small crate is 27 by 13 by 21 cm, the large one is 41 by 31 by 12 cm. We can't thank her enough for doing a project for us. How about $35 for both. I really don't know what to charge if you think it's too much please just message us. Thank you.
