Unfortunately, 1 in 3 pets will go missing in their lifetime and only 1 in 10 are found. July is National Lost Pet Prevention Month and serves as a reminder to put strategies in place to keep your pet safe. Here are some additional tips:

🐶 Train your pet to come to you on voice command
🦮 Keep pets on a leash in unfenced areas
🐾 Microchip your pet and keep your contact information updated
🐕‍ Get your pet a secure and updated ID tag

If your pet does go missing, file a lost animal report with your local police department, post on community social media pages (such as Facebook or Nextdoor), check neighbors’ yards or video doorbell footage, scout local parks, and call animal shelters in your area.

Sweet Stuart came in for a fun dye job before he spent the weekend at the Atlantic Outdoor Sports and RV Show showing everyone about what a fun sport Dock Diving is! He brought lots of smiles to faces! 💛💚🧡💙💜

That’s a wrap on summer!

It has been a rough one for us over here at groomingdales. From Jenna breaking her hand to our backdrop being completely broken.

We have had our hands full and we apologize for the lack of posting.

We are hoping to have a brand new backdrop up and running by Halloween so we can get back to our regular photos!

As for the upcoming weather this weekend we will be contacting anyone who is booked to move them just as a precaution.

That means I will not be answering any messages or calls while I am away.

‼️Attention Clients‼️

We appreciate everyone’s patience over the last few weeks.

Some people are aware Jenna has had a hectic few weeks. Unfortunately to top it all off, she has broken her hand.

As of right now she is going to be off for at least the next 6 weeks. Coming back she’ll be on an easier schedule load as she works back on regaining movement.

What this means for all of our other clients is we will not be taking any new appointments until August 1st. As I, Kelsey am the only groomer until Jenna returns I have to take on her schedule of dogs that already have appointments booked.

If you have an appointment with me, Kelsey before August 1st there is no change.

If you have an appointment with Jenna we will be reaching out in the next week to work something out. We will be doing our best to accommodate. ⚠️Please do not reach out to us, if your appointment is effected we will be in touch with you! It takes us twice as long if we’re answering excessive messages ⚠️

Once everyone who currently has an appointment is situated if there is any availability before August 1st we will post about it.

Please be patient.

‼️Hand stripping clients‼️
Jenna will be in touch with anyone who is currently booked but for the time being there will be no hand stripping as she broke her dominant hand and will have to regain strength and mobility.

I, Kelsey have a trip that was planned prior to Jenna’s accident there for from;

July 16th - July 31st

;there is no guarantee that anyone will be in the salon to answer the phone. The front staff will happily take messages but it may be the 1st of August before anyone is called back.

We apologize for any inconvenience and we look forward to seeing everyone again in August!
