Milo a rescue from the Pawsitive Play Lounge joined us for training sessions and has done wonderful so far. He likes to work and show off his new things he has learnt.

Really catching onto the focus work. Intense boy and he is going to be brilliant with it.

Do my dogs play with other dogs here? I get that a lot in sign up and in message.

The issue with playing and introducing dogs to other strange dogs. There is always a risk of fights breaking out. So to have low risk I only pair up dogs of equal size, drive, strength and weight. Oh and ages are very important because dogs are always at different stages of development, Training and behaviour issues if there are any. It should be supervised upon first meeting. Watch for body language signs and signals is very important.

Dogs never play with collars, harnesses or other tools on them. Yes they are harder to grab but the alternative can place them in more danger then a dog fight.

Melissa how many dog fights have you had in the last year?
I have only had one reactive dog to after Gracie between training stage and the door of my stall which was grabbed gently at the neck and turned away from the dog in a quick and clean turn in 180 degree direction fluent motion. Not even a scratch on either dog. It’s important to watch not wait and react right away.

Can we view your facility before coming and doing a service?

You sure can, but the dogs will ask you to sign in first by their presence who goes there. The firm alert bark…. It is important to message me anyway like I mentioned to arrange a day and time.

Also it is important I am here for you to come get your dog and for drop offs unless your a loyal customer and we have made prior arrangements.

Please note the safety concern of petting other peoples dogs. They maybe in for aggression, fearful or reactive issues so petting should be accompanied by permission please.
