Staff Pet of the Month: Sawyer James!

In celebration of Seniors Month, we’re thrilled to highlight our November Staff Pet of the Month: Sawyer James! At 13 years and 3 months old, this sweet senior pup was adopted from the Calgary Humane Society at just 12 weeks.

Sawyer’s favorite toy is his beloved purple pinecone, and he loves going for walks and receiving pets from everyone he meets. Treats are his weakness, especially doggy beef jerky! His biggest fan is his Mumma, Dr. Kim, who ensures he’s always pampered and loved.

As we celebrate the joy that senior pets bring to our lives, we’re proud to honor Sawyer.

🎉 Upcoming community event!

Join us for a fantastic event supporting the United Way on Thursday, October 17th, from 6-9 AM at the Ramada Hotel (2170 Harvey Ave)! There will be 1,500 amazing prize bags filled with goodies from local businesses in Kelowna. Plus, 20 lucky bags will contain special surprises: 10 free office visit gift cards and 10 free nail trim cards!

We’re thrilled to announce our first Animal Health & Bathing Day on September 14th from 1:00 - 3:00 PM! In collaboration with Kelowna Gospel Mission, this special event is for animals owned by marginalized and unhoused individuals in our community.

Here’s what we’ve got lined up:
🛁 Bathing, Ear Cleaning, and Nail Trims
🐾 Animal Care Packages packed with essential supplies

This event focuses on uplifting our community and ensuring every pet receives the care they need.

The City Centre Vet team is truly delighted to embark on this meaningful partnership with the Kelowna Gospel Mission, marking the beginning of many collaborative efforts to come. Our deep commitment to supporting our community drives us to organize a special bathing and care day at the Bay Avenue shelter. This initiative is designed to extend a helping hand to those who are marginalized or unhoused by providing care for their beloved pets. By easing this aspect of their lives, we hope to allow these individuals to focus more on their own well-being and access the support they need for themselves.

🎉 Join Us for Our Clinic’s Grand Opening! 🎉

We’re excited to invite you to our special open house on Saturday, August 24 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Come tour our clinic, meet our dedicated team, and enter for a chance to win one of several fabulous pet gift baskets! The festivities kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Maxine Dehart and Fletch from Fletcher’s Keep at 11:00 AM.
