We’re thrilled to share that CTV News recently featured Critter Care Wildlife Society in an article about our two orphaned bobcat kittens. These rare little ones came to us in need, and our team is doing everything possible to give them a second chance at life in the wild.

Are you passionate about wildlife and looking for hands-on experience? Critter Care Wildlife Society is offering unpaid winter internships from mid-November to February! This is a unique chance to make a difference by caring for injured and sick wildlife, as well as this year’s baby animals who are staying with us over winter.

Meet Jura, a Resilient Orphaned Bear Cub

Jura, an orphaned bear cub, was rescued by Critter Care Wildlife Society in partnership with the Squamish community. Discovered with a leg injury from an old fracture, Jura was treated by veterinarians at Critter Care and began healing naturally.

Now recovering in an outdoor enclosure, Jura is expected to fully recuperate and join other cubs before his eventual release back into the wild, showcasing resilience and the importance of wildlife rehabilitation.
