So happy to be part of another Furry Tales Cat Rescue Happy Tale! Mr. Melly (Caramel) arrived after losing his human and finding himself an orphan. He was an absolute joy to have and made himself at home quite quickly. We were able to fix up his teeth which were causing him some difficulty and now he is on his way to his forever home! He is leaving with a big piece of my heart but I know he has a fantastic life ahead of him with his new forever family!

Caramel had his teeth cleaned and three teeth extracted yesterday and he is already feeling better having eaten a full bowl of food last night! He has a few days of antibiotics and then he will be ready to start his search for his forever home. He is the sweetest guy, likes other friendly cats, has a very adorable soft spoken meow, wants to be brushed and have his tummy rubbed! You couldn't ask for a floofier or sweeter boy! Caramel made a jail break from the foster room yesterday and spent some time out and about in the house. He loves cat nip toy and had a very adorable play session with the banana! Enjoy!

Robbie: Day 3. Okay so there are somethings about fostering that you learn over time. One of those things is that a room set up that works for one kitty doesn't always work for everyone. Mr. Robbie is a climber but also a jumper. He feels most secure when up high so I had to make some adjustments to his room set up as all his hiding spaces were at ground level. I added a sturdy, weighted bookshelf with back covering to provide a safe higher spot with some privacy. Still very unsure of people, he starting to spend some time out and seems especially fond of the window. I also had to take all the clothes out of the closet as he has a habit of using them to try and climb up into the top of the closet, which isn't safe.
