The girl gang - all are reserved 🐾💕.

The girls in this litter were such a treat, tiny & sweet. All of their personalities have blossomed & they’re all around 1.5-2.3lbs at 8wks old! Ducky will have a long haul to California, Cera is staying close to home and Ruby will go to Edmonton!

Can’t wait to share some of the new names & updates as each of them makes their way home. 8 weeks flew by and I know the next couple weeks will too. 🥹

My last two available from the dino crew!

These sweet guys are bigger than the girls, I expect 8-10lbs at maturity. I have been observing all our pups over the last 5-6wks and am pretty confident in what I can say about their temperaments so far!

I will do their official assessments in the next week or so, but if you’re thinking about a new pup for your family… let’s chat! Maybe Spike or Petrie will be the one!

Last weeks update but make it… today. 😬😂

Better late than never, I couldn’t NOT post these 4 week old cuties. 5 weeks tomorrow! They are all doing so amazing, loving their puppy mush, learning playful boundaries, exploring our other dogs & the cat.

Look at these cuties! Just about everyone has a home waiting, Petrie is my only pup left at this time. Spike may be available but we will update accordingly!

Petrie has been a crowd favorite since day one, and he would love a home where he has his own person to bond with, but who also is dedicated to setting healthy boundaries and confidence building! He is only 3.5wks old, but this is the type of home I feel he will excel in right now! He is such a sweet boy with lots of love to give! He is charting to be 8.6-9lb (likely small mini) at this time.

A busy week & they sure turned 2 weeks old in a flash!
Too cold for the cute outdoor photos, so we picked a cozy crocheted quilt and snapped these quick adorable shots!

They are already starting to toddle around like clumsy little peanuts & finding their voices. Pictures were so hard this week, so watch for cute toddling videos in my stories! 🥹

Still in shock we have FIVE lol! Reba is doing an awesome job keeping them clean, fed and happy! We have started scent introduction & “ENS” handling as well. ❤️🐾

Cera gets her very own post today. And her name was given to her specifically because she’s already a tough little one! 🐾.

I didn’t realize until after the fact, I forgot to change the photo on my template for Cera’s photo… she and Petrie are alike but very different all at once, it slipped my eyes haha! Phew, it has been a week! But nothing a repost can’t fix here! 😅

The moment you’ve all been waiting for!

Our “Land Before Time” litter is doing so well!

All puppies are consistently gaining weight now & each one cute as a button. Reba did amazing, FIVE puppies from a 7lb dog is a big deal, and she had them all in just 1.5hrs. What a champ! She’s recovering well and bouncing back fast too. 🐾❤️🥹.

Can you guys believe how grown up Luna looks in a Poodle cut 🥰😭❤️.

Luna was our only 2023 puppy, and she is truly special. Love having her back for regular grooming, so nice when I get to be apart of their lives after go home day!

Reba is due with our first 2024 litter any day now! DM to inquire, we have 1 spot open right now!

Reba enjoyed vacation with us during Spring Break, and now we are back to reality & the countdown is on for puppies!

Howdy, hey, hello! I’m Ashley.

I’m past due for an intro, but to be honest I’m not great at social media and life is so busy. Better late than never though! We have a busy year ahead & figured it would be a good time for it!

✨About Me✨

🖤 I am a wife & mother to 3 littles.
🖤 I have 3 Toy Poodles (Cash, Reba, Dolly), 3 chickens (Karen, Ms. Green, Sunny) and a toad (Jumpy).
🖤 I’m currently working towards my Dog & Cat Grooming certificate.
🖤 I dream about having a quaint little farm with horses, cows, pigs and more chickens. I enjoy gardening and being barefoot all Summer!
🖤 I am American (Iowa born and raised) and currently reside in Northern Alberta.
🖤 I consider myself a social introvert. I love being home, keeping to myself and raising my kids and dogs. But also, when the mood strikes I can talk for hours and enjoy a little with friends and family!

✨About our program✨

🖤 Although my program is small, I have placed pups coast to coast in Canada, the US & even sent a special pup all the way to Japan.
🖤 I strive to do better with each litter and commit to learning, it’s a never ending requirement!
🖤 Our adults currently range 5-7lbs & and the main goal is consistency in health, temperament, but I am hoping to see more consistency in our adult sizes this year with our new stud, Cash.
🖤 We use ENS, ESI with our puppies alongside a whole “Puppy Preschool” curriculum full of socialization, environmental exposures, and of course early crate & house training! You can check out the website for more!

Of course there’s always more, but I hope this gives you an idea of who I am, and the pride and love that goes into in my dogs, their puppies, and my pup families. Moya came for a board & groom… swipe to see her transformation from cutie scruff to cutie fluff 😂❤️❤️.

My grooming certificate course through & webinars/courses are already paying off. Moya was a perfect canvas to start on - tons of growth with no matting but also not the biggest fan of being groomed. She did so good on the new table, and I was able to practice handling, prep-work, and cutting techniques I’ve learned more about!

Such a busy year ahead of me here at Wild West! 🐩✂️

Dora, now Luna! Enjoying her Christmas & New Years, being spoiled and loved!

She is probably the easiest puppy we’ve ever had, and she is proving to be just as easy & trainable in her new home! So proud of her & her family. They’re killing it on the training front… she is doing exceptionally well with potty training, loves her cuddles, knows to sit/speak/dance/stay already!

Between my puppy curriculum & our training partner (The Puppy System!) I really do my best to set each puppy up for success & to do better every single time. Luna made this go around pretty easy for all of us, can’t wait to see what she learns next!

We have started to bring the pups out of the whelping box a couple times a day to socialize with the kids and let the other dogs get used to them, while fully supervised, of course. They are also being exposed to some daily noises now.. like our 3 kids (the laughing, the crying, the yelling, the soft voices and the loud voices lol), regular vacuuming, the occasional barking, TV shows, music, various kids toys. We have started clipping their nails & will begin getting them used to electric trimmers soon too! Our goal is to send each pup home with a good start on all the basic needs from grooming to potty/kennel training to helping them avoid the development of anxious behaviors. ❤️
