Heebie jeebie alert! Our assistant Aleli and her husband went "tick hunting" as part of her husband's research! So cool! With tick season among us, we recommend a monthly tick prevention for your pets! If we have seen your pet in the past year you can call us for a prescription for tick prevention!

We all know it's important to have our pets nails trimmed, but are we doing it often enough? We recommend every 4-6 weeks to keep up on your pets nails(some even need every 3 weeks)! Pictured is the best pug and sweetest old man Dozer, who came in for his regular nail trim with Krystle today! Look how relaxed this guy is :)

New Hope Dog Rescue NEEDS puppy food!

With over 75 dogs in our care, a multiples litters of puppies we ran out of our last bag of puppy food this morning - we have been giving our newest addition, adult food for the time being! 😞

By donating a bag of food you can help dogs like Sox. 🐾🥰

We have volunteers throughout the city and surrounding areas who are willing to donate their time to pick up these donations as well as numerous drop off locations too. We hope our community can come together to help our dogs in need.

Meet Sox -

He was hit by a car in a northern community and became a Tripod. His temp foster took good care of him until he could come into New Hope’s care this past weekend to continue healing.

He’s healed and will stay with us for a few weeks, get his shots and be looking for a home in time for Christmas. 🥰

If you've been to our clinic you'll notice we have different colour exam rooms! Our purple room is reserved for cats whenever possible. Here you can see Ghost in this room, feline relaxed up on the shelf! I bet he rules the house with his cuteness alone 😊
