Ellie had her first big girl haircut today!

The first time Ellie came in she did not like her face messed with. But since then her mom has worked hard and put in the time at home to desensitize her to the comb and the brush around her face.

Today Ellie was relaxed and happy with her face being messed with!

It is so important to put in a bit of work at home with your puppies! Grooming is *life long* so the more we all work with them at home the more they realize that grooming is no big deal!

Way to go Ellie and Ellie’s mom! 🥇

Hello!

I’m Kristy, Certified Canadian Canine Stylist, and that’s Kimba, the black dog. A little about myself, I grew up absolutely infatuated with animals; big, small, scary, cute. I always knew that when I grew up I wanted to work with animals. It wasn’t until around 2015 that I decided that I wanted to be a dog groomer! I took schooling, learned all the breeds, specific trims and more. Once I graduated at the top of my class I quickly found my first job as a certified groomer! I’ve spent the last 3 years learning more and more about grooming, dogs and business; the dos and the don’ts. It came time for me to leave my job and start up my own grooming salon. Scary, exciting, nervous but ready.

Grooming is a life time event for your dog, if not done right it can be traumatizing and scary. I provide a quiet “at home” one-on-one grooming session to give your dog 100% attention they deserve. No need to worry about busy, noisy and hectic grooming salons here, just me and your pup!
