JOLENE!!!!
Jolene has had ZERO interest 😿
Jolene had been dumped outside, not even a year old and already pregnant
She gave birth to 3 beautiful kittens and is still an incredible mother to them 😻
She mothers all the kittens in her foster home, and is especially close with Kiki who is not her daughter!!!
Jolene has recently started to play with toys
She has learned that she is safe and can now be a real cat!!!

PLEASE consider another alternative to dumping your cat outside 💔
Indoor cats CANNOT survive outside
Reach out to a rescue
If they are full, (which most are 😞), reach out to another
Call the humane society
Ask your friends if they are able to take your cat, or if they know someone who will
We are seeing so many posts and getting so many messages of cats who are being dumped
These are your family members and are not disposable!!!!

Maggie is a very curious, sweet kitten
She loves looking out the window at all the wildlife in the back yard from the top of her cat tower
She makes the cutest little meows to get your attention 🥹
Maggie can play hard to get, but once you pick her up and put her in your lap she is quite comfortable
Maggie will need another cat/kitten in her foster home and can be adopted with her sister Misty, or her foster mates London and Lonnie

October was Pet Valu, Stratford's Companions for Change fundraiser to collect food donations for our rescue and 2 local food banks for their pet pantries.

*Meet Basil and Clove there until this Sunday afternoon😻

I think its fair to say they succeeded in stocking our shelves for our fosters cats! We have many cats/kittens up for adoption currently and honestly, adoptions have been slow. So, this food is incredibly helpful to feed the hungry kitties as they wait for their perfect forever families to apply!

Thank you to Kayla, Kim, Shannon and all of the staff at Pet Valu, Stratford for selecting our rescue to support!

JUNO AND LENNON UPDATE!!!
Juno had been checked by several vets on staff before being sedated, and no heart murmur was detected
She suffered a cardiac arrest on the table before they were even able to make the incision
They reversed the drugs, and thankfully she came out of it on her own
We don’t know what’s in store for her, but for now she is back home, cuddling and purring away 😻
Lennon had to have his abdomen cut open to find his testicle
It never would have descended on its own as it was tied up in tissue
He has one of the biggest abdominal incisions we’ve ever seen 😳
He is also very cuddly and purry right now

UPDATE: PLEASE PRAY FOR JUNO AS HER HEART HAS STOPPED ON THE OPERATING TABLE
Wish Juno and Lennon luck today as they are both having complicated surgeries 🤞
Juno was diagnosed with a heart murmur when she initially went in at 4 months for her spay
We opted to wait until she was older
She will be monitored closely and the vet will be using heart safe drugs ❤️
We also have Lennon going in for his neuter
He was sent home on his first attempt at surgery because one of his testicles had not descended
Again we waited until he was older, and still no testicle!
He will be having an ultrasound to try and find it
The vet said it is usually in the abdomen 😮

Micah is a sweet darling. She loves to snuggle on comfy blankets and will cuddle in with you at night. She loves big windows to watch the birds fly by and she can often be found on her cat tree. Micah is playful and needs another cat in her new home or to be adopted with one of her siblings. She is fostered with many cats and 2 big dogs.
