I raise primarily English Angora rabbits and my Rabbitry is called Jentle Rabbits. We raise Angora for wool and I love spinning the lovely wool my animals grow for me. Every time I brush my bunnies (everyday) they give me beautiful fiber I can mix with sheep wool or other wool to make lovely art yarn for knitting or weaving. I also felt the wool and angora felt bunnies are just precious. We do not

sell our English Angoras as pets. They are a lot of commitment and we want our adoptees to have a reason to brush and care for our amazing wool rabbits every day. We maintain a wait list currently for English Angoras. If you are offered a rabbit and make a deposit we may hold it for you at our discretion up to 2 months if you are a good distance away. Without a deposit the rabbit needs a good home and the first suitable adoptee with a paid offer will get the rabbit. You can choose to remain on our wait list if the timing isn't good for you at the time of adoption. We also raise beautiful Standard Rex and New Zealand Red which are meat rabbits. For those who want to adopt we occasionally have dwarf Lionhead or Giant French Lop or Flemish Giants. The larger rabbits make wonderful pets for people with children and the tiny breeds are just so cute to watch hop around the house. We start housetraining our baby rabbits from the time they are small providing a wire tray that many of the dames teach their kits to use. Only male rabbits are available for adoption as females tend to be a little too aggressive when they reach maturity. I also make soap and aromatherapy products and my company name is Jentle Soaps. I also have an apiary and collect honeybee swarms for the Capital Region in Victoria, BC. If you want some of my honey products (vanilla bean creamed honey and black truffle honey) you can contact me at you guessed it "Jentle Honey" right here! We have quail and a flock of Muscovy ducks on our little urban hobby plot. I blog and post pictures about all my hobbies at http://www.jentlesoaps.blogspot.com

Vanessa’s family and close friends traveled all the way from Mexico and the United States in order to share this special moment with us! Vanessa and her gues...
