New customer today was Jasper the Cockapoo . He’s quite an anxious boy and he’s not been a fan of having his legs or feet touched which is quite a common occurrence with dogs he is also not keen on his nails being done but he faired very well today as we took baby steps every step of the groom allowing him good time to rest in between along with a lot of praise and patience . We managed to get him to accept the clippers and scissors on his front legs and have his nails clipped . Consistency is key and building trust with the groomer so every time he comes we will repeat the process gently desensitising him to the grooming process until it’s not as scary as he thinks it is . Well done Jasper we look forward to seeing you again soon 🐶❤️🐾🐾

New in today was little Miss Clementine the Miniature Irish Doodle in for her first puppy introduction. Today was very much about socialisation with me her groomer and a nail trim and brush out . She’s quite a chilled little lady and we look forward to increasing her confidence in the groom room over the next few sessions where we will gently introduce her to the more noisy side of the grooming procedure . Well done Clementine you’ve been such a good girl today 💕🐾🐾🐶
