Mummy Jet is only a baby, a brilliant Mum to her five kittens. This is Jet and her son Oreo, eleven weeks, who is a Mummy’s boy so they would love to go home together. Jet is spayed, they are both vet checked, flea, wormed, 1st vaccine, and microchipped. They are friendly, cuddly and confident. They can live with children and dogs.

Thank you everyone who visited our stall!! Great to see so many dogs out at the Aspenden fair!!

Little did we know we would be judging the dog show too, so many customers in the ring that i already new, as well as lots of new doggies I hadn't meet, all beautiful of course and so tricky to choose just three in each class but all doggies are winners in my eyes anyway, and we all take the best dogs home no matter what 🥰

And that's a wrap!! Anstey Fairs first dog show, rossetts and prizes all off to their new homes which where donated by us,, we hope you have all had a lovely day. And hopefully we will all see you next year. Thank you too everyone who entered the dog show it was our first hosting a show through Little Gem's Pet Shop so we hope you had fun. Here's a couple of pictures we have been sent through 🥰 (if you have any more pictures we would love to see them!!)

And the Raffle Prize has been drawn, and the winner is Little Ruby!! We can't wait to give you the hamper tomorrow!! (If Axel of course will let go of it 🤣)

We have a beautiful hamper for the Anstey fair tomorrow in our very own Raffle!!
Tickets avalible at our stall just by the dog show that we are also hosting!!
The hamper is worth over £80 of lots of lovely goodies for your doggie. Even my own little Axel would quite like to win it 🤣 here he is modeling for the photo!!

The rosettes for the Anstey Fairs dog show have arrived!!

1-5pm this Sunday!! Why not pop down and come and see Little Gem's Pet Shop, and maybe even show your 4legged best friend!!

There will also be a number of other stalls, with teas, cakes and fun games too it's a lovely fair, so pop in. 🥰

This is absolutely heart breaking!!

Our hearts go out to a fellow groomer who was taken far too soon in the awful murders of Louise, her sister and mum also.

Let’s remember her in the industry and all the love and care she would have given to the dogs just like us.
Dog groomers are one of a kind and we are such a small community it’s hard to hear this happen to one of us.
Louise your legacy will live on through dog groomers 💕🫶🏻

We are all thinking of her family and friends at this sad time

Ready for the cycle race just about to head through the high street!!

Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year!! We would like to take this opportunity to thank every single person who has visited us throughout 2023 two legs and 4, our little shop would not be the same without you!! It's been on and off tough creating our little pet shop over the last three years, and also within hard times for absolulty everyone at the moment but with all your support we hope that our little shop continues to thrive, so we can supply our local community with that much needed dog food and pet accessories and new to 2023 our dog grooming salon!! I thank all the girls that have helped me throught 2023 and put up with me🤣 karla, ellee, Irene, and Katie I couldn't have got the pet shop where it is now without you all 🥰 Behind the seens we help our local community as much as we can and in 2023........ We raised £100 for the outside classroom for edwinstree a local school. We helped to run the food bank stall on our late night shopping and raised over £200, we donated £300 plus another £160from our customers and bought a family a whole Christmas with food and presents for two little boys, we constantly raise donations for ALFS the animal food bank within the shop and are always posting their kittens on our page i personally rehomed another from them this year as they where inindated with kittens beinh dumped, we gave a £175 hamper to the aspenden ball who raised money for the food bank, parkinson disease and for the cricket club, we gave a free Dog Groom to RATS - Rehoming Animal Telephone Service when our salon opened, we helped rehome a elderly labradore stuck In kennels after her owner became extreamly poorly, and sadley passed away after we managed to rehome her, rescues had no space couldn't house her, and little Sparkey our Patterdale that someone no longer wanted at just 13weeks old who went to his new home which we organised and fostered over Christmas last year and in the January 2023 he set off for his forever home. Onwards and up

We hope you all had a wounderful Christmas, we would like to take this opptunity to thank you all so much for your continued support in our pet shop, when we where in the industrial eastate and with our move to the high street in 2022, and also for such understanding thoughtout the times I had to close early this year to look after my mum before she passed away in September, the support has been amazing, and i hope to see you all in 2023, we want to wish you all a very happy new year for 2023 including all your 4 legged fury family too. We have new ideas to expand our stock in 2023 so watch this space!! Love Karla and Myself! Xx Here's a video of the little pup we took on just before Christmas as many know he was just a little too much for his previous owners and lots of you have been egar to know how's he's been doing over Christmas and new year, so to help cheer you all up and make you smile, here he is and he's doing amazingly! 🥰

Heat Wave!! Because of the high temperatures forecast tomorrow, we will be doing a shoter day 9am-12pm! Although we do have air con in the shop, we do not want to encourage people and dogs to brave the heat and come in and see us, when the day is at its hottest! We appolygise for any inconvenience caused! This isn't an easy descion, as we would rather be open, but to be able to keep an eye on my own animals aswell as our customers and their animals we fill that this is the right thing to do! See you from 9am-12pm tomorrow if not we will see you Wednesday!!
