dense, long fleece on a strong well balanced frame.
Tonka has all the great characteristics of his sire Softfoot Koo Wee Rup one of the most highly decorated brown males to be imported from Australia achieving National championships in both fleece and halter shows and at other major shows such as the Sydney Royal and Charles Ledger. Rup has champion progeny in Australia and now the UK..
Tonka’s dam is Herts Alpacas Top Tottie one of our finest dams who has consistently produced high quality progeny. Top Tottie boasts an elite pedigree with names such as Lavender Park Tulley, Patagonia Celtic Triumph, Cedar House Braveheart, Purrumbete Inti, Highlander and Sweet Freedom. Top Totties sire is Herts Alpacas Nigel a reserve supreme champion and winner of multiple championships. Nigel has consistently bred a high level of elite alpacas both male and female.

Herts Alpacas Glamour Puss also holds the titles of Best British Bred Alpaca and Champion White female.
She is sired by Valley Alpacas The Diplomat and her Dam is Herts Alpacas Glamour Girl out of Snowshill Ramises. Her elite genetics also include EP Cambridge Peruvian Spartacus, Cambridge Navigator, Cedar House Snow King and Jolimont Conqistador.

Congratulations to Chris and May Herrmannsen of Cold Comfort Alpacas on the purchase of Herts Alpacas Tuk - Tuk Reserve Champion fawn female at this years South Of England Show.
Tuk - Tuk is a stunning fawn female with a dense, bright, fine fleece exhibiting highly uniformed staples with a high amplitude and high frequency crimp from skin to tip.
Tuk - Tuk's dam Toft Flabebe is out of Rastaban, Flindars Star and Skywalker lines and her sire is Herts Alpaca's Chubby Checker a champion fawn male whose dam was the multiple champion Toft Madysen from Lavender Park Tulley and Pategonia Celtic Triumph lines.
Fleece shot is of Tuk - Tuk's 1st fleece at 8 months growth.

Congratulations to David Berry and Sally Berry of Berryfield Alpacas on the aquisition of Herts Alpacas Grey Kanta a beautiful mid silver grey female. Kanta has an extremly long, fine, bright, dense fleece displayed on a perfect frame.
She has strong grey genetics being uniquie in the fact that she is sired by Cedar House Long John out of a Meon Valley Sorcerer daughter an exstremly rare combination.
The fleece shot is of her 2023 1st fleece.

Congratulations to Mark and Tess of Bonington Farm Alpacas on the astute purchase of Herts Alpacas Little Nige a stunning solid brown male with an amazing fine, bright, uniform dence fleece.
Little Nige has all the great characteriscs of his sire Herts Alpacas Nigel a multi champion brown male with a reserve supreme championship to his name.
Little Nige's Dam Bramton Valley Violet is sired by Lavender Park Tulley and boasts an elite pedigree with names such as Patagonia Celtic Triumph, Cedar House Braveheart and even Galaxy of bozedown.

Good luck to all the organisers, exhibiters and everyone attending this year's BAS National. We are sorry we can't be with you unfortunately Katie broke 3 ribs a while back and has taken a while to recover.
Hopefully we can catch up at another show in a couple of months time.
