Duck Bobbin’
Baklava was meant to be bobbing for ducks and cooling off ….instead he decided duck theft was a much better option! 🐤

Send help! 🆘🛟
Mario is apparently blissfully unaware of our volunteer team member’s welfare as he chooses to sit his furry self on their laps in 28 degree heat with no thoughts of getting off anytime soon! 🥵🥵🌡️
Someone please adopt this absolute pudding of a cat and be prepared to give their lap over to a lifetime of cuddles and neediness!! 🤗
Mario is just ten months old, could live in most home environments and is ready for adoption right now: https://www.rspca.org.uk/findapet/search/details/-/Animal/MARIO_/ref/BSA2131531/rehome
Anymore need any biscuits making?! We reckon Tulip could set up her own bakery!
Ready for adoption now. You know you ‘knead’ to apply! 🍪
Join us for Scarlett’s one our Rehoming Coordinator’s birthday for a Friday Feline Frenzy - no appointments needed to walk in and visit all day next Friday 17 May 10-4
**Friday Feline Frenzy** - Walk In Adoption Day Friday 17 May 10-4 ** Please read below!
We are celebrating Scarlett, one of our Rehoming Coordinators birthday with her requested wish - a walk in day to meet lots of people to adopt lots of cats!! So her wish is granted!
Come meet our beautiful cats, find out more about adoption, ask any questions you might have, complete an application form and even adopt on the day if you and the cat are ready!
To avoid confusion we just wanted to let you know that this is not an open day, but an opportunity for those who are looking to adopt to come in and find out more and start the process! 🐾
Oh there will be birthday cake too!
New boy on the block Flerkin is recovering nicely from his amputation and is feelin’ fresh for cuddles and lap fuss!
Flerkin is ready for adoption and would love to find a new family soon so he can carry on healing, strengthening and resting up!
He will make a lovely companion in a family home with children aged 11+ and without other pets.
Room for our tripod chap in your home and in your hearts?
Squidward Catnip High!
Squidward is a lively active boy and he’s easily bored in the cattery confines. This Sunday one of our pawsome team has been busy creating catnip toys hiding treats and creating games to help bust the boredom whilst he and others waits for a new home!
As we creep into Christmas Evening we wanted to say a huge thank you for all the generosity you’ve shown our little branch this season. It means the world to us when you pop in with pet food, bedding and blankets and donations for the shops and cats.
We are truly grateful for every donation given. We know times are tighter but this year our community have shone even brighter.
Here’s Joe, a resident who will remain at the animal centre over Christmas. 🥹 Joe was transferred from RSPCA Finsbury Park Animal Hospital a few days ago to our care. He was stressed and angry and scared from his journey.
Turns out actually….he’s rather a sweetheart ….and this old boy is now hoping for a home of his own after years on the streets.
If you want to give to Joe this Christmas you still can via the link below: https://rspcacanterbury.enthuse.com/cp/51b3c/fundraiser#!/
Wishing everyone a peaceful and purrfectly impurrfect few days with your families, friends and four legged pals.
🎄🎄🎄🎄
Last month was a record rehoming month for us!
5️⃣1️⃣ cats and kittens went off to pawsome new homes and this weekend is shaping up to be busy one too!
It’s humbling to see just how many people are willing to rescue a cat and give them a second chance.
Betty Boo here is hoping for her second chance home. She was found outside in the awful storms a few weeks ago- emaciated and half starved.
As you can see …a few good meals and a dental and she’s feline’ great now and awaiting her pawfect new pad to sass about in.
Could it be with you?
Sunny September vibes with Fella .. #weekendmood
Meet Fella. He’s been with us a little while now because he needed his eye removed. Our friends RSPCA - Kent North West paid for this for him and he’s healed up lovely.
He was pretty grumps having to wear the cone of shame whilst his eye healed but now it’s off he’s decided to show his softy side.
We now want to find Big Fella a big sofa! He needs a respectful home without young kids who are willing to let him settle. We suspect he’s never really known a real home before and we would love someone to give him a chance.
Could you be be Fella’s purrfect match?
A snapshot of the day in the life of one of the Animal Care team- off in the van to the vets with Lola and Kattu for health checks. All good and back to the cattery signed off and ready to go to their new homes!
When it doesn’t matter if you can’t hear anything and you only have one eye …you can still show Colin the Caterpillar what for!!! 🐛🐛 #zoe #deafcat #oneeyedcat #playtime
It’s our penultimate day of sharing a snapshot of some of the work our pawsome volunteers get involved with!
Today is the turn of su-paw foster family Sarah, Billy (and co off camera)! They have been so amazing at taking cats and kittens into foster and helping them begin their journey forwards onto their permanent homes.
Hear Sarah and Billy talk a little bit about what they do and why they love doing it!
If you are a pet free home, fairly local and Sarah and Billy have inspired you to think about fostering and providing a temporary safe space for a cat(s) in need then please get in touch for a informal chat- email [email protected].
We provide training, support and cover all the costs of the cats whilst in your care.
Delighted to share a few words from our Chair, Paul as part of celebrating Volunteer’s Week.
Paul has been such a great Chair and we are so lucky to have him as part of our team.
If you’ve been inspired by Elsa, Dylan, Annabel, Gemma and Paul and would like to join our volunteer team please do get in touch.
Ella got the mid week crazies!!! ATTACK!!
One small Oreo rehomed… and one Oreo left in the packet…I mean cattery! 🍪
Here is bigger boy Oreo with one of our volunteer team, Helen, showing how much he loves a fuss and that everything he rubs his face on belongs to him! Think that includes Helen now too!
Ready for rehoming right now. ❤️
Super worried Biggles decided that today he wanted to play!
We are thrilled to see him as he hasn’t coped very well with life in the cattery the last few weeks. He’s 15 and has found it quite a shock and is missing a comfy sofa snuggle. 😔😔
But today the shiny toy and one very patient volunteer were irresistible and he couldn’t wait to attack!!
Biggles is looking for a home with Ella- his pod pal 💕💕
