Pictured is a 1991 ex racing greyhound skull available on our website. Pictured with our own ex racing boy who we lost last year (not who the skull is from). The skull shows gum disease but is in otherwise good condition.

Thank you for another amazing year and for keeping us so busy through November and December. We’ve loved every second of it, however very much ready for a break over the festive period 🎄.

We absolutely loved bringing these little characters together under glass, combining delicate florals and natural textures to create a display that captures their charm perfectly.

Our Story

I’ve always had a keen passion for art and making things. Studying Art and Photography in both High School and College gave me a good base to build and grow my skills.

Last year I decided I wanted to make my best friend something special for Christmas, instead of the usual shop bought bottle of rum or craft equipment. After a lot of thought and searching on the internet, I stumbled upon a stunning blue butterfly that was ready to be set into some kind of art. This is what stemmed my idea to preserve it in a glass bell jar.

I had previously seen people do similar things, however I wanted to make mine a little different. With the help of my partner, we ordered all the items we needed and started to create the final product.

We were really happy with how it turned out, so I posted it on Facebook and Instagram to see what people thought. We got a lot of really nice feedback, which is how DeadSet Co. was founded. The rest is history...
