✨ Combining Arts ✨

We were super pleased to be contacted by Rob Hefferan enquiring about combining our butterflies with his paintings. All I can say is I am blown away!! The outcome is beyond anything I could imagine 😍.

After the positive reactions and feedback received (plus selling out). Rob has decided to create more of this spectacular artworks. These are one of a kind paintings retailing for £2,995 including framing, VAT and delivery.

Absolutely adore how this commission came out. The layout was inspired by her daughter's tattoo. We spent a lot of time making sure the specimens were as close as possible to the tattoo which made it all the more special!

I think I might have to make more frames like this for the website 🤔

Taxidermy Rainbow Stag Beetle fighting it out! Another very specific customer request for their commission layout. I love creating what people have envisioned. Made using mixture of real dried flowers as well as some artificial to create that perfect scene.

Our Story

I’ve always had a keen passion for art and making things. Studying Art and Photography in both High School and College gave me a good base to build and grow my skills.

Last year I decided I wanted to make my best friend something special for Christmas, instead of the usual shop bought bottle of rum or craft equipment. After a lot of thought and searching on the internet, I stumbled upon a stunning blue butterfly that was ready to be set into some kind of art. This is what stemmed my idea to preserve it in a glass bell jar.

I had previously seen people do similar things, however I wanted to make mine a little different. With the help of my partner, we ordered all the items we needed and started to create the final product.

We were really happy with how it turned out, so I posted it on Facebook and Instagram to see what people thought. We got a lot of really nice feedback, which is how DeadSet Co. was founded. The rest is history...
