I have received so many requests for my continued services that I thought I’d clarify what I am doing at present. I will, and have been, seeing clients for limited services, boosters, minor illnesses, routine treatments etc.. I do dot host regular consultation hours so only see clients by private appointment. Also I do not do surgery. These procedures and more complex treatments I would refer to other practices, including emergency cover - I have arrangements in place to help in those situations. However if a limited part time vet such as myself can help - then I will continue to do so!
I had to cut down on full service as I was working and on duty, on my own, for up to 12 hours every day, for over 40 years. This was affecting my health and not sustainable. I am trying to reach a balance of life/work suitable for my age and outlook. So if anyone wants to accept this position I am quite willing to help out where I can.
