Humans have very attached the habit of punishment but with dogs the communication by using the window of opportunity to tell them what we want. In this video is one of the examples where instead of punishing we praise to let them know what we want. We present something very tasty in this case a sausage and with a combination of words and body language, we praise when the dog looks away, it may look a coincidence at the beginning, but the dog’s brain is going in avoidance and we use the window of opportunity to nurture what we want from them by praising.
Obedience training and behaviour of our dogs go hand in hand. Communication with the proper motivation and affection bring extremely fast and durable results. Having a dog, should be a pleasure.
