Getting Your Dog Active
Here at Edinburgh Active Dogs your pet’s happiness, health and fitness are our main focus. Dogs are walked on a dog to handler configuration based on size, weight, age and strength so that they can be adequately exercised and supervised. Specialising in medium (Labrador) to giant (Saint Bernard, Great Dane, Wolfhound,etc) breeds, our walks and packs are tailored to each dog's needs, meaning dogs will be walked with other dogs which are in the same size and physical fitness bracket where possible. We also offer specialist fitness training for dogs which includes extra runs, games and swimming through our "All-Day Walks" daycare package. This can be something to help maintain your dog's fitness and overall well-being or just simply to make sure they come home tired and more relaxed in the evenings when the family is home. Dogs with specific needs or goals, such as weight-loss or recovering from illness/injury, can also have specially tailored walks to meet their needs so that their return to full fitness can be carefully supervised. Overall, our goal as an organisation is to ensure that your canine family member is both happy and healthy, and will show it every day.
