Alfie trying to convince us he really only needed to put one foot on the scales to earn his treat. Nice try Alfie! π€£ππΎ
Sometimes in this line of work it's inevitable that we bring our jobs home with us..
Meet the fab 4. The new Vetkind foster kittens. All growing well and delightful π». Updates to follow π
Happy Sunday from the wonderful Eddie and Patsy. They had an absolutely fabulous time at their booster appointment this week and were happy to pose for a photo π»π»
Days that start with nine beautiful puppies are pretty good days.. ππΎ
Our lovely patient Sunday has produced some rather remarkable babies, and last year's pup Jeannie has been an amazing big sister! All healthy and happy, & totally gorgeous!! ππΎ
Mable the Maine C**n chilling out during her booster appointment. π»
We are excited to announce the arrival of our new medical laser! β‘
Laser treatment is non-invasive, painless, and can help with conditions such as arthritis & other forms of chronic pain, infections, wound healing, and many more. And all in the comfort of your own home.
As seen, cats also enjoy the laser carry case!
If you think your pet could benefit from treatment, do get in touch to enquire.πΎ
This week our vets were put through their paces & attended an amazing training day at Dental Vets specialist hospital in Haddington.
An incredible facility with a fantastic team of highly skilled specialists. We hope to bring these new skills to our patients in need of dental care.
And for those very complex cases we are lucky enough to have these lovely people on our doorstep taking referrals.
Thank you https://www.facebook.com/DentalVetsUK!! πͺ₯πΎ
Lovely Isla was enjoying her check up so much we couldn't complete her heart auscultation today as the purr engine was too loud! Hard to believe this picture was taken just after her having a blood sample, what a happy girl! π»π
Gorgeous Theo is seven years old now but definitely still thinks he's a puppy! We just about got him to sit still for long enough for a quick photo of his lovely face before he was bouncing around again! ππΎ
Here's the gorgeous Flavia relaxing on HER sofa after her check up and booster β€οΈπΆπΎ
Muffin, taking it easy in the vet bag π»
You may remember Great Dane Earl from a previous post; Well last week we were lucky enough to visit his girlfriend Jura! π
They don't live together but meet for walks every day, with a Great Dane gang.
At over 50kg Jura is larger than some babies, but she is still a youngster. And despite her stature, is very much of the opinion that she's a lap dog, and we're only too happy to oblige ππΎ
Little Chuckles trying on Martha's shoes at her kitten check today. You've a bit of growing to do yet Chuckles! π»πΎ
Vetkind cat Arthur demonstrating the art of a relaxing weekend. We hope all our patients are staying out of mischief & doing the same ππΎ
Little Jack Russells Dora & Nell expectantly waiting for treats after they aced their puppy checks! ππΎ
Amadeus at his diabetes check up, looking as stunning and majestic as ever. We have known him many years now and he only grows more handsome! π»πΎ
Meet the loveable Pippin & Perry π.
Perry was so excited to show us her tricks we could only capture her blur of enthusiasm!
They are the sweetest girls and we love visiting them ππΎ
Handsome PiΓ©rre was having a little trouble with matts in his lovely coat, so we helped him out with this super chic lion cut.
Now he can start from scratch with his brushing routine.
Once matts form, they can grow quite quickly, and easily get out of hand, and a clip like this can really help. We hope PiΓ©rre is feeling light and free with his new hair cut! π»
Miss Maisie looking so sweet at her check up, she could almost pass for a teddy bear! And she has the loveliest personality to match ππΎ
Rupert enjoying the effects of the valerian spray we use to entice our patients onto the scales.
He didn't much appreciate the nail trim, but basked in being covered in Pet Remedy after his weigh-in! π»πΎ
Little Frank at his kitten check, he is like a tiny pom pom & has just melted us! π»πΎ
Little Effie at her first kitten check this week. The vaccination doesn't seem to have troubled her! π»
17 year old Gemma now has special cat stairs to get up to her favourite chair. Little modifications like this can really help older cats continue to do their favourite things when they start to get a bit arthritic.
She purred through her check up on her throne as usual today. Always lovely to see you Gemma ππΎ
We are delighted to share that we have been nominated for the second time, for Practice of the Year! π
Thanks to all who made it possible. We love what we do & it means a lot ππΎπ
Handsome Albert was feeling a little wriggly last week, so had some calming tablets before his blood test today.
They worked so well, combined with Julia's expert touch, he stayed snuggled in his cozy bed throughout the whole procedure, gave us a little head bump and a yawn and sent us on our way. π»
We first met Willow a few years ago in the shelter, and were delighted to see her again this week showing off her beautiful markings and her spectacular view of Arthur's Seat in her lovely forever home. A happy cat indeed π»π
