Hello everyone.
Just wanted to make you aware I have a weeks holiday from the 22nd June. This has a knock on effect to my availability.
I have no appointments in May. And a few appointments left in June. So If you do need your dog grooming in June by me, please message ASAP before I have no appointments.

I am now only working every other Saturday to give myself a better work life balance.
So one week I work Monday to Friday and the next week Tuesday to Saturday. I was finding some people could only do Mondays and others Saturday and I then resulted in a 6 day week. 😕

A polite reminder that any payment form for your dogs appointment must be paid before taking your dog home. You couldn't go to tesco and tell them you'll pay the next day.

Wowza what a day 🤪
But we did it . We took on the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge of 3 mountains and 24.5 miles in 12 hours . With 8 minutes to spare 🙌💪💪
It really was quite tough and the last mountain , had me cursing 🤬
Feeling proper pooped now.
But I just wanted to say a huuuuuuge thank you to everyone who sponsored and believed in me .
I am so so grateful and I managed to raise my £500 target for macmillan cancer research . Sending you all love . Thank you so much again 💓

Today I felt totally emotional and overwhelmed 😢
A customer of mine gave me a very generous donation to my chosen charity for the Yorkshire 3 peaks walk next Monday. She thanked me for doing this for macmillan. I nearly cried
Without too giving too much information away. This lady has terminal cancer and her health is now very poor. 😪
I have been worrying myself over whether I can do this challenge . Have I practised enough. Have I got enough energy. Have i got the right clothing to wear. And constantly, what if I need a poo 💩 🙈🙈🙈🙈
All this is so superficial, and the lady today put everything back into a better perspective for me. She will never climb another mountain or walk that route .
I am going to do this . And raise as much money as I can . I might be crawling that last mile and just scraping by with the 12 hour time frame .
I have walked enough , and I've been out every week, driving miles and miles to find hills and climb mountains and join walking groups.

Please. Please if you can sponsor me. I will be totally blown away and so very grateful in equal measures. Many thanks 😘😘

A little update 💙❤️💙

I am now only 2 weeks away from my Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge. This is a big challenge for me personally as I have only ever climbed 1 mountain and and on May 6th I will be climbing 3 of them. Alongside walking 24 miles. My bestie Keeley Sargeant and my super poodle pixie are doing the challenge too. They will absolutely breeze it and I will most definitely wheeze it and will be talking a hell of a lot less than I usually do 🤣🤣
Every weekend I have been going on 12 mile plus hikes , with as many hills as I can find to practise. My life has basically been working or walking lately. But I am absolutely loving it.

I am soooooo unbelievably grateful to those of you that have donated already to Macmillan Cancer Support. Thank you so so so much.
If anyone would like to donate to this amazing charity and help me reach my target, I'd be blown away.

So yesterday I went on a wonderful walk in Yorkshire and met the most beautiful dog I've ever seen. This is Bruno. He's a 7 month old Greek shepherd. He was rescued from Greece.
He's looking for a new home. He's roughly a bit smaller than a lab.
His temperament was the sweetest. He sat there beautifully whilst I stroked him and gave him treats . He gave me lots of kisses. I fell in love with him. But I already have 3 dogs 😫😫😫 if anyone would be interested in having him. Please get in contact. He's currently being fostered. I was genuinely blown away by him and didn't stop talking about him.

Puppy love ❤️ 💚💛🧡💙

Puppies can have puppy introduction grooms as soon as they've had their 2nd vaccination.
The younger a puppy has been introduced to being groomed, the easier they accept being groomed. I would recommend their first visit to be at around 12 weeks .
Grooming can be quite daunting. New person handling them. Strange bath. And table. Super loud blowy machine. Rattling clippers , sharp and scary shiny objects (scissors 🤣)

Grooming them at home with a brush and a comb on their face and legs in particular. Not just the strip on their back 🤣🤣 really helps them enjoy being groomed rather than scared or biting . Reward good behaviour and always end on a high. They have the attention span of a gnat when young. So keep sessions short and sweet. Get your puppy used to be handled. Touch their faces ,look at their teeth, in their ears . Fiddle with their paws . Not only does this help your groomer , it helps with vet appointments and it's super beneficial to you too when they become poorly or injured.

I just wanted to say thank you to my lovely customers for their gifts . Its truly heart warming ♥️

I have taken a very much needed and overdue break from work over the Christmas period and I start back to work on Monday 8th Jan.
My apologies if I haven't replied to work related messages but I truly just wanted to switch off, enjoy my holiday and precious time with family . As we all do.

Hello everyone.
I just wanted to say I am truly blown away and totally touched by the kindness of our lovely village. Mepal is definitely the best place to live and we are all so so lucky.
Every time I was out walking and searching , there was always an abundance of people looking for Parker. Giving up their time and energy to help. You have no idea how much this meant to me or if I have the right words to convey my appreciation and awe.
The endless comments with such helpful advice and suggestions. The heart warming messages and phone calls. Never did I expect to receive so much support. I'm truly blown away.
I do want to apologise to any local farmers for trampled fields , we could not leave 1 stone or field unturned. My sisters and my daughter and I were out constantly looking for Parker.
Many many many mistaken rabbits and deer . A tad embarrassing. But we had to check 🫣

I just want to put a little shout out to Sarah who was walking her 2 labs and gave so much support to my daughter and came back with endless tools to help set Parker free. Although we have never met. You are an angel . Thank you so so much 💗
Another shout out to Martin, who at a moments notice was there with a strimmer. Fighting bramble and nettles to retrieve Parker from a hole. You are a hero who was covered in nettle rash . Thank you so so much.
