I have water!!!! Whoop!

It’s been an ongoing problem due to the low pressure and miles of pipework to find and fix the leak but I have now managed it and put a brand new tap in the centre of all four paddocks gates. It is available to use from today. I would still advise you to bring your own water just in case the pressure drops completely but for the moment it works very well!!

DOG ADVENTURE CAMPOUT!!

Where: Lake District

Who: Anyone who wants to join

Dog Adventure Campouts are a unique opportunity to have a camping experience with like minded individuals and of course dogs!

The campsite has regular camping, hard standing, electric hook up and glamping options so you can bring a tent, camper, motorhome or caravan. Full toilet and shower facilities as well as food options and is walkable to local pubs.

All I’m doing is letting you know a time and place. I won’t be running any particular activities although you will have access onto the lake and I will be heading up a mountain or two if you want to join.

If you do want to join in please send me a message with your accommodation options and then I can release the campsite info to you. I will then coordinate amongst everyone to ensure everyone knows when and where to be.

SANTA PAWS IS BACK!!!!

14th & 15th December 10-4

Due to the burglary last year I wasn’t able to host this event and it made be incredibly sad to not see all your awesome dogs!

This year will be awesome with trade stands, games, socials and of course the chance to see the big man himself!!

Tickets are now available on the website. Tickets are your time slot to specifically see Father Christmas with yourDog.

NEW!!

PUPPYHOOD WORKSHOPS!

I have created these workshops to help Puppy Owners who cannot make a full Puppy Course or for those who need a little top up to their training.

Each Workshop will be tailored differently to help the owners that attend. They can be used in conjunction with the Puppy and Junior Socialisation sessions where owners can apply the techniques and ask questions.

Sunday 8th September @ 10am

Sunday 29th September @ 10am

Puppies up to 8 months old. Only £25 per dog. Places are extremely limited so please be sure to book in.

Socials are on this Saturday and the weather looks fine!

Join me for a chance for your dog to play with other dogs in secure and safe space!

9am - Open Play is for any age or breed dog to meet other dogs for a run around
9am - Smaller Dog Play is for dogs the size of Cocker Spaniels and below who might feel a bit outmatched with larger dogs
10am - Puppy Socialisation is for Puppies under the age of 6 months old
10am - Junior Socialisation is for dogs 6-12 months old

All sessions are supervised and designed to be for dog friendly dogs. Hot & cold drinks are available during the sessions.

I’ve been on holiday for a couple of weeks but I’ve just got back and can’t wait to catch up with everyone!

Tomorrow there is the Open Play Session at 10.30am and is available to book via the website.

I will be at the paddocks all day tomorrow for socials and 121 training as well as cutting the grass!

Paddock Hire Available this weekend!!

Here are some shots from the Hungarian Viszla Play Session Last weekend!!

We can accommodate dozens of dogs playing in the paddocks so if you are a larger group and want somewhere for your dogs to play, you are more than welcome!!

If you just have the one dog and want some space for them to burn off some energy then you can also book a paddock and let them run to their hearts content!

Hello everyone, the paddocks are designed to be a multi user space therefore there are extra rules that need to be followed for the safety of all users and their dogs.

🐾 ALL gates should be closed including the car park gate unless leaving or arriving
🐾 The car park gate should also be locked when not in use
🐾 ALL dogs are required to be on lead when in the car park and walking to your paddock regardless of how well trained or friendly your dog is
🐾 Poo bins are located at the main paddock gate so please pick up your dogs mess and use the bin. DO NOT leave it in the paddock.
🐾 Always respect other users. You have no idea if their dog is nervous and/or needs some extra space so just give space when people are walking to and from their paddock.

There is enough room to park over 100 cars in the car park which is ideal for other groups getting together.

Todays Open Play Session! We are so lucky here at the paddocks to have oak trees surrounding the paddocks for shade and being surrounded by fields that allows the breeze.

Well after 6 months of not being able to find the water leak due to the constant wet weather I have finally found it and fixed it! You can now fill water bottles up at the stables tap but please note it is low pressure and will take a bit of time. Don’t forget to turn the tap off

BRAND NEW FEATURE FOR PADDOCK 4!! It’s bigger and better than ever now with a brand new meadow section with a semi circular loop that takes you out of the original paddock 4 into our unused smaller paddock and then loops back through into Paddock 4!! The whippets are showing you how to use it! This section will have a wide path cut into it and will also benefit from more shade during the warmer months!! It’s a whole third bigger!!

7 Month Old Male GSD who pulls like a train on a walk. 20 minutes from arriving this is just how good he can be! Happy owner. Happy dog. Contented me. Gone are the days when I take on dozens of training consults each week as I spend more time with my family but if I can help then I will

*sound on It was a very windy trek up towards Helvellyn on Friday with winds up to 60mph and temps around -4 with windchill around -14. This was Labus’ last Winter Trek up Helvellyn due to his age and I made the decision to abandon the summit as Labus was struggling to keep his footing in the wind. This video is an example of why you should always reassess along your route and make the safest most informed decision you can. My priority was Labus not the summit.

Vizsla fun!

A reminder to drive slow and steady down to the paddocks. It helps protect the track but also wildlife that live here. 5mph is enough.

The snow maybe disappearing fast but I loved seeing Labus zoom around the garden yesterday morning! It’s hard to believe he is 12 years old sometimes

They can come along to our doggy daycare where they can socialise and run, play bounce and enjoy to their hearts content. Or if they fancy more of a holiday they can join us for an overnight stay enjoying all the creature comforts of living in a home. For the more adventurous of canines we can offer our Dog Adventure Days which take small group of dogs on fabulous adventure days to exciting places such as woodland trails or river walks and even to the beach for the day!

We cater for the more relaxed dogs to by having our onsite Dog groomer, Greenhills Grooming and afterwards all dogs can have the chance to browse our Dog Adventure Shop where every product is tried and tested by our own dogs to ensure we get the best in for your dogs!

That is not to mention our Dog Training & Behaviour work which we carry out all over the UK to help dogs in need.
