Following requests from British Eventing Regional Youth Co-ordinator - Wales & West and in agreement with British Eventing Official in addition to BE80ou18 additional 90/100/Nov u18 classes have been added to the schedule for May 11/12th event.
Early entries would be very welcome with ballot date being 16th April 2024.

Please remember that the grace period for the roll out of the new Level 3 blue BETA2018 standard body protectors ends on Monday 8 April 2024.

This means that ALL body protectors, being worn at any British Eventing events, will need to be of the Level 3 blue BETA2018 standard after this date.

The purple BETA 2009 safety certification will no longer be permitted.

Good to see our medical providers training for wet weather deployment but we very much hope it will have stopped raining by mid May. That said always reassuring that the best possible help will be on site if you need it.

Theres no point having the gear and no idea!

A 2nd cohort of staff have recieved professional off road driver training to British Off Road Driving Association standards this week, ensuring our teams understand the capabilities and limitations of their vehicles. This ultimately means that we can safely reach and extract patients from unpaved and rough terrain.

Production well under way on new xc fences and some pole painting as well for show jumps. If you want to try them out best get those entries in. We know the weather is grim at the moment but the ground will dry out and the sun will shine. The ground at Llanymynech dries quite quickly and is good old fashioned turf and loam that can drain naturally in days.

As preperasions unfold for the event we would like to introduce one of our new high tech "volunteer" who will be busy collecting and processing the scores during competition days as you compete.
In order for the best utilisation of this system you the rider will be required to have a small wifi implant tag that will enable the on site surveillance to be recorded. Both our medics and vets will be available to assist in the small and relatively pain free insert at the information point. Tags will be removed by the Farrier at the end of the day, Best news is the tags are free.

Llanymynech (1) - 11/12th May 2024 (Entries Open 28th March 2024)
We are the only affiliated British Eventing Horse Trials in Shropshire. Good "A" Road and Motorway links from the Northwest / Midlands / North & Mid Wales and the Welsh Border Counties.
Cross Country in both Wales and England over old turf in parkland and spacious fields. Large flat dressage area and Show Jumping arena flanked by Trade Stands and Catering. Spectators welcome with free admission. Traditional and relaxed environment helped by our wonderful volunteers and event team.
