Here is an update on our February pet of the month! Medi sadly had her front leg amputated after an accident but we’re absolutely thrilled at how quickly she has recovered and is back to helping out on the farm ❤️❤️🐶
We’d like to wish a very happy Christmas to all our wonderful clients and staff! 🎄 We are now open for emergencies only, routine appointments will resume on Wednesday - please see our previous posts for our full opening times over the festive period.
We hope you enjoy this video of some of our vets showing off their questionable dance moves! 😂👨🏻⚕️
Sometimes we need to call in Rory, an orthopaedic surgeon, to help us fix fractures or cruciate ligament ruptures. This is a video showing how he planned a recent elbow fracture surgery on a poor Frenchie puppy. Henry was soon feeling much better thanks to the teams work!
This is Vera, she belongs to Donna one of our nurses.
Vera is a rescue dog all the way from Romania. She has only been with Donna and her family for 6 months. Since Vera has been with Donna, she has always chewed and scratched herself. At first Donna thought maybe it was a habit from being in a shelter but as the warmer weather came and lawns mowed, Vera was still itchy. Something had to be done!
We have started Vera on a monthly injection to help stop the itching and chewing caused by atopic dermatitis. Vera had her 1st injection on 15th June and within 8 hours the itching and chewing had completely stopped. Vera received her 2nd injection on the 15th July and every one is very impressed by her response to the treatment.
If your dog is itchy this summer then please call us on 01691 830235 for more information
Well lambing season is upon us. Today this ewe needed some assistance from Helen to help give birth to her lambs. She really loves her babies!
An update on the little hedgehog from yesterday has done really well overnight and has gone on to the hedgehog rescue where it will be released.
This little black and white kitten has been found in Llanymynech, near to the dolphin. He is very friendly, no collar and not microchipped. Please get in touch if you recognise him on 01691 830235
