Zeus Reactivity.
This is Zeus!
He has struggled with reactivity towards other dogs.
Today we worked on handler engagement and the right handling, you can have all the knowledge in the world however if you can’t handle the dog theres no point in having the knowledge. We also talked about how tone of voice and talking to much will become white noise and it’s not effective in certain situations. It’s great the owners are so dedicated to helping their dog before this behaviour gets worse in the future!
He was forward and snarling and growling when we first blizzard out. Within 5 mins he was walking nicely on a leash and was not reacting anymore.
There is still work to do however now they are on the right track to success.
Hopefully we will have another session soon.
