Just to see how far you have come.. makes my heart smile 🥰 Baby Stu (Stewie), came in to us on 8th July 2021.., and he had been bullied from the very moment he was born! He didn’t know what love was.. He had awful wounds all over his tiny body.. His left ear had been ripped into 3 pieces.. He was drastically under weight & he was so scared of everyone & everything. The family that surrendered him (with the 3 other males & 8 pregnant females), actually thought that he was already dead!! He wasn’t able to eat, as the other piggies would fight with him if he got close.. so he didn’t know what dry & fresh food really was, so he survived by eating the poop of all the other piggies.. & if he was lucky, he would find a scrap that had been left/dropped - it was heartbreaking! When they brought him to us.. I saw this teeny little thing, shaking in the corner of a cardboard box. I scooped him up, & he scratched me, trying to get away.. But I held him close to me.. and spoke to him softly.. I told him that he was loved so much.. that he was safe now.. & that no one would ever hurt him again! Within seconds.. he snuggled up to me, under my chin.. and he stopped shaking. It’s been just over 9 weeks since he came in.. & he has changed into a gorgeous, sweet, curious, confident, happy, lively little man! He has steadily put on weight & currently stands at 921g! That’s not bad, considering he was only around 400g when he came in! He is not going up for adoption.. as he really has become a huge mommas boy.. and he has a bond with me that is so strong.. we just can’t ever break it! So he is officially a member of The Ark Residents, which means that he is family. We plan to bond him with one of the new babies in a few weeks, when the are old enough. So.. after further ado.. please welcome the newest member of The Ark Family… 🎉Stewie (Stu) Miller-Martin 🥳🥰 #BabyStu
