🐻Coco Bear stole our teams hearts🐻
This adorable, extremely effectionate boy was in with us as he had issues with his ears. He kept scratching his ears and shaking his head. Unfortunately Coco Bear was too uncomfortable so needed a light sedation so our vet could have look down his ears.
Whilst under sedation our vet Randa was able to see exactly why he was so uncomfortable. He did in fact have an awful infection in both ears. Both ears were thorough cleaned and treatment was applied👂
Hopefully Coco Bear makes a speedy recovery. He definitely enjoys a cuddle and immediately wanted all the love from our team🩵

Cat microchipping becoming law ⚖️
We would like to remind all cats' Owners that the new legislation is coming into life on the 10th of June!
By the time your kitty is 20 weeks old, they have to be microchipped. There is £500 fee if the cat isn't chipped.
This is easy and quick procedure, if you have any questions regarding the new law, give our team a call, a nurse would be happy to answer your questions and book an appointment for your cat! ❤️

🦷Ruby’s Dental Procedure🦷
This beautiful little lady is Ruby, pictured here with our vet Rachel. Ruby came in for her dental procedure and really was the bravest chihuahua. Unfortunately Ruby did need a couple of teeth extractions but they were removed successfully with no complications👩⚕️

What a super relaxed consultation for lovely little Pippin who came in to see our vet Rachel. Pippin was recently adopted by her new owner and it is fair to say, she has settled in wonderfully. Pippin demands all the love and attention and makes it very clear by being vocal. 😻
Pippin popped in to see Rachel as she has had a bit of a cough. After thorough examination and no coughing in the consult, everything appears healthy with Pippin. Her owner will monitor and get back in contact if concerned👩⚕️

As you are aware, from 31 December 2023 breeding, selling, advertising, rehoming, abandoning, and allowing XL Bully dogs to stray will be illegal. ⚠️It's grass seed season ⚠️ And this year, they are more visible as many commons around the country are being left to grow in a rewilding effort. This is why, as a dog owner, you need to be particularly careful when taking your dog for a walk! 🐶 These pointed grasses hide in long grass patches all around our parks. Their seeds are arrow-shaped and can enter a dog’s skin very easily! Once it’s in, they can travel through your pet’s tissues, causing infections and serious other health issues. Grass seeds can also enter your dog’s nose and get lodged in their throat or enter their lungs, which can prove fatal if not dealt with in time. That’s why it’s important to check for grass seeds after your dog’s daily walk and be aware of signs of discomfort such as: - Sneezing - Shaking their head a lot - Gnawing at their paw - Scratching their ear - Squinting one eye If you spot any of the signs above, don’t delay bring your pet to our surgery immediately! Grass seed removal is a painless, stress-free procedure taking place under anaesthetic by one our highly trained healthcare professionals.
