Cats can suffer from hypertension, or high blood pressure, just like we can. Having high blood pressure may be primary (hypertension is the problem) or secondary (hypertension is a side effect of another problem).

1 in 5 cats age 7 and over are more likely to suffer from hypertension, so we are offering This is a simple, non invasive, test which is quick to carry out. Most cats tolerate it very well. It allows the nurses to monitor your cat and refer them to a veterinary surgeon for further investigations if any problems are found.
The sooner we catch hypertension, the sooner we can start treatment, reducing the chances of side effects developing or diseases progressing.
