❣️VETERINARY RECEPTIONIST WEEK❣️

This week we celebrate our Veterinary Receptionist! We are so lucky to have Shannon, Zoe, Kate and Rachael as part of our reception team! Our wonderful team work extremely hard to make everything run as smoothly as possible to provide the very best care to our clients and their pets. 💚

They are always on hand to help and advise clients as well as offering support to the rest of the team. They deserve recognition all year round but particularly this week we want to thank each of them for what they bring to Millpark's success. Thank you! 💚

🦮🦮 In honour of International Guide Dog Day we thought it was only right to mention one who retired this year! You might have seen him behind reception snoozing away or welcoming your pets to Millpark. Ryden was a guide dog for over 8 and a half years and only retired 8months ago. He still lives with his owner and is now enjoying his retirement (as you can see in the photo below). Even in retirement and his growing age he still is very vigilant when out on walks and always looking out for his owner. Such an amazing boy! 🦮🦮

Please say hi to some of our staff pets who have had some exciting surprises! We have had some new toys delivered recently and of course we had to put them to the test with our own animals!

🐱 We have the gorgeous Daisy who is testing one of our cat toys and is loving it! Daisy Approved!

🐶 We also have Sir Bruce and Mini who are loving their new additions to the toy box! Both in deep concentration for their toys! I definitely think they are approved!

💫 PET OF THE MONTH 💫 ERIC 💫

Eric is a very young and adventurous kitten whos many adventures outside had just begun!

He came into the surgery with hind limb injuries after being involved in an RTA.
Despite this, he was still his loving and rather loud and proud purry self, even whilst being examined.
He had his initial x-rays with us at the surgery, and was then referred on to Arvonia vets for a CT.

Unfortunately, Eric’s injuries were far more in depth than were first thought and he required an operation to stabilise his pelvis and spine.
With the help of Emma from VOST, and the Arvonia team, Eric has been making good progress and is now back at home with his brother Ernie and his family who are taking very good care of him.

We are happy to report that Eric is doing very well post operatively and we all have high hopes that he will be back to his mischievous ways in the near future alongside his lovely sidekick Ernie!

This morning, the adorable Peggy came to visit us all at Millpark 💚

She was so well behaved for her first health check and vaccination; she even let us clip her nails ⭐

Clearly wiped out by the whole experience, she decided to take a quick power nap on our scales 🥹🤣 (ideal for getting an accurate weight)!
