Happy 1st of June ☀️☀️☀️
Stunning morning here. Spaces left for today and tomorrow, have a fantastic time here and a great weekend 🐾🐾🐾
Nightmare rain 😱that’s the brick built railway bridge suffering the effects of the rain and a floodplain being landfilled 🤦♀️thankfully the steel built bridge is much higher.
Hopefully the rain will stop soon🙏
Spaces still available for the weekend but bring your wellies as ground is wet. Ark building underway….🤘🤣🙄
Gorgeous day here. For those booked hope you have an amazing visit, it’s absolutely stunning and views are blissful 🫶🐾
A few spaces left today if you’d like to come and enjoy this beautiful September day with your dog/s, the two Labradestroyers with me are having an absolute blast rn
What an absolutely gorgeous morning for the last day of August 😲🫶
We have spaces left for today, dew on the ground atm so boots recommended but wow it’s beautiful up here at The Stackyard Park
Mahooosive thank you’s
Never really get the time or chance to focus on the positives while juggling things, it just hit me whilst reading all your amazing reviews, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for appreciating the park (well ultimately your fur baby/s that is! followed closely by you👍☺️)
A safe, secure, enriching place is top priority over everything else, we’ve been owned by rescues, challenging behaviours, norty but funny ones, selected hearing dogs🤔🙄😂, scared, anxious, over happy and some just normal dogs…. 😂the parks are for dogs like ours and owners like us
Thank you you lovely humans and even more so you lovely canines 🫶🐶🐕🦮🐩🐕🦺🦴🐾
What’s a bit of rain!! During yet another downfall this week. Amazing Amber❤️. Our guys just do not care what the weather brings, having a blast is top of the list 😂
It’s much cooler today than Sunday when Zeus took full advantage of the paddling pool 😲😂😂🫶🫶 how I’d love a massive dog swimming pool here🙏
There are spaces left for this afternoon and evening.
There is no limit to booking length so if you want to spend time, bring a picnic etc and enjoy time with your dogs. The parks are very private and you are left alone to enjoy 🫶
Currently breezy here, no shock there!!!
I have spaces left for today, little pools filled up yesterday evening for the doggies to have a dip 😲🤣👌🐾🐾🐾
So the puppy and small dog paddock is more or less complete bar a grass cut, to raise the ground level between the internal gate and get privacy screening installed.
However, the bottom park has been our dogs park and I need to finish off replacing wire on it if it’s to accommodate tiniest of puppies 🥰🤩
So looking for feedback, are you happy to walk/carry your pup/small dog up around 100 metres to the puppy small dog paddock or do you want to wait until the bottom park fencing’s complete so you can let them off in the bottom park section as soon as you enter the gate from the car park?
Thanks for any feedback 👍🐾🐾
I have got to say the views we had yesterday evening whilst having a picnic from the picnic table in the puppy paddock were breathtaking 🫶🫶🫶
You are more than welcome to hire our parks for longer than one booking slot if you want to make it a day out, bring a picnic etc or if you enjoy landscape painting like me (badly!) the views are great for this👌👌👌
I have spaces left for today, currently it’s a pretty bitter cold breeze most likely because I dressed for the heat 🙄🤦♀️😆
Our two mad labradestroyers enjoying zoomies in the top field atm.
We currently haven’t cut the grass in the agility park as it’s great for the dogs to lie in to cool off if we ever do have a heatwave. If it would be helpful to cut paths to the obstacles like last year let me know and we’ll get it cut👍
Beautiful Friday evening 🫶🫶🫶love sharing these views with everyone
It’s the Penicuik Hunter and Lass tomorrow so please check for road closures and possible delays if you’re booked for the dog park tomorrow and if you don’t need to drive through Penicuik it’s best to avoid!
We are quite lucky to be located in one of Scotlands windiest locations so even with an increase in temperature there tends to be a breeze. I filled the pond yesterday for doggy dooking😂🚿🚿🚿 if we are in for a good summer I will try and source a decent sized pool, we trialled a few with our red fox labradestroyers but they were destroyed within a couple of days 😫🤦♀️😂
Have a fab weekend and thanks to everyone booking with us 🫶🐾🫶
What a glorious day now the haar has lifted! Please check that the water butt tap is switched off so it doesn’t run out of water, happy to top up if it’s empty though, just give me a shout if it has been accidentally left on. It’s already warm for Scotland and it’s only 11am😎😲😄
Louie who is son of Old Vic and grandson to Saddlers Wells😲 ❤️is “mowing” the dog and puppy park today, he’s so used to dogs barking as are all of ours so don’t ever worry about this.
Have a fantastic weekend
