Duskhunter Cottage invites you to come and help in the company of other friendly people to grow some plants/flowers food to eat and just enjoy the tranquillity here it is a marvellous place to feel peace and be able to restore your soul in whatever way your body/mind seeks.

We started a community garden here a few weeks ago and now everything is growing and needing attention. We only have a handful of people but would love more to engage and enjoy what Duskhunter Cottage Garden has to offer.

If you would like to grow your own food or flowers in the company of others who are also enjoying the peace and serenity here then please make contact you do not have to be knowledgeable at all it is an opportunity for anyone who would find the benefit of helping here and making new friends.

As I am also a small dog rescue (kennel free) you can also befriend, foster, walk, or adopt a dog.
I grow and sell plants to help fund dogs that need rescuing. This is in addition to the community garden

Teddy is still looking for his forever home, can you help us by sharing this post? 🏠
Teddy would need to be placed in an adult only home as the only dog, away from built up areas as he can find this a bit overwhelming 🌆 He can be a bit unsure of new dogs and new things at first so would need a kind, patient soul to support him and help him feel safe and comfortable 🐶 Teddy is such a character and we’re hoping he can find his forever home soon ⭐️

Update
Thor is in foster at the moment

This sweet, young man is Thor. He is three years old.
As you can see he is a small to medium sized dog who is looking for a new home.

He only weighs 20kg, his coat makes him look bigger!

Amy has found her forever home

Another big thank you!
In February WHAGS professional dog care services held a Valentine’s Day fundraiser and very kindly donated £100 to Duskhunter dog rescue.
This money was put towards some essential security fencing for the dogs which has allowed them more freedom with better security.

This is well overdue, big Thank you to the Ark pet shop on the Broadway, Plymstock for having a food collection box for Duskhunter Dog Rescue.
It has been there for several months and has been a godsend. The kind ladies who work there have delivered the donations in their free time and Angie says that it is like Christmas for her and the dogs!
These donations have enabled Angie to help more dogs and to concentrate on adapting her gardens to improve the security and wellbeing of the many dogs she has rescued in the last year and a half.
A huge Thank you also goes to everyone who has put an item into the box. Thank you, Thank you .Thank you.
Your donations have made such a difference.###
