⭐️Paw Precision Pro⭐️
Very excited to announce that Paw Precision Pro will now be sponsoring Cerian Kear and her 3 beautiful girls Blitz, Lexi and Gracie 😍
Blitz and Lexi both compete at champ level agility. Gracie is a young pup and building her foundations in agility.
Lexi recently took the reserve ticket at a championship show 🤩 and Blitz has just returned from competing at the World Agility Open 🤩 soon she will be representing England at the European Open! 😍
Really pleased to be supporting all 3 dogs with their ongoing conditioning exercises which is vital for any dog competing or participating in any sport. In particular for agility which is all about power, balance and proprioception!

Hope you and your dogs all have a great weekend! 😍
Well that certainly wasn’t the plan to end the year cancelling every client 😞
Again to those whose appts didn’t happen I am truly sorry.
But looking forward to seeing you and all of your lovely dogs in the New Year! 💙💕
Thank you for entrusting me with their therapy this year it’s been an absolute pleasure 🥰
Merry Christmas and a very Happy, Healthy and Mobile New Year to you all! 🎄🥳
My final video this year is of beautiful Izzi processing her therapy helping her body and mind to rebalance ✨💕
Gorgeous little Motley popped in today for some socialising and his first mirror experience 🤣🥰💙
Such a fun sweetheart 😍
The lovely Rosie practicing her Pivot exercise.
Pivot is a great exercise to build balance, practice transferring weight from one leg to the other and building strength to the inner and outer hind limb muscles.
We have added in some sensory mats too, to add to the proprioceptive challenge which will in turn help to build good neuromuscular pathways.
The pivot is sometimes used in trick training, however for your dog’s muscles and soft tissues to benefit this exercise should always be performed in a slow and controlled way, by rewarding your dog frequently for one step or weight shift at a time.
Hope you all have a great weekend x
Reggie the cockerpoo 💙
Handsome Reggie initially came to see me for sensitivity on being stroked and touched along his thoracic spine and yelping when being picked up. It soon became apparent that Reggie has hypermobility of the cervical spine ( neck).
His owner has worked incredibly hard with his home exercise plan to
Increase his proprioception ✅
Understand where all his feet are using foot targets ✅
Stillness and holding good form ✅
Activate and recruit correct musculature ✅
Forward focus ✅
Remain balanced whilst a part of his body is being moved ✅
These are exercises to increase postural strength a crucial element to the foundations of canine ( and human) conditioning exercises.
When a dog or human has hypermobility it’s very important to ensure that the postural muscles are activating and strong enough to support movement. Without this a dog is likely to move in compromised patterns leading to dysfunction.
Reggie is now ready to move onto more dynamic conditioning exercises, continuing to ensure we meet all of the above criteria!
Well done! 👏
This isn’t easy and takes huge commitment from his owner but Reggie will benefit hugely in the years to come! 🥰
Happy bank holiday everyone! 🤩
Trigger Point release with accompaning vocals!
I think we released it!! 🥰 (sound on)
Releasing a trigger point in the Splenius Muscle - responsible for extending and raising the neck. If like Ted you have had lower back spinal surgery the neck can get quite tight and sore.
Happy weekend everyone!
Moss before therapy
Before and after therapy. ( after video in comments silly FB won’t allow 2 x videos!!)
Lovely Moss 💙 with historic left hindlimb issues. Just one therapy session! I am sure he is feeling much more comfortable now!

Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy
With shock wave therapy becoming a more popular therapy for dogs, I thought I would share my own personal experiences of it.
I have chronic Achilles Tendonitis and shock wave therapy was recommended to help with this condition to speed up the rehab and recovery.
I won’t lie it was brutal 😩 and hurt a lot especially around my heal bone and I did have to bite down on a towel. However luckily it didn’t last long 1.5 minutes. I have 3 more sessions booked whereby my physio thinks I will be fully recovered (I will update you all on that)
However other than the loud noise which dosent bother me ( but of course could be an issue for noise sensitive dogs), my concerns are it is unlikely that my tendon will return to normal tone leaving it adhered and thickened, therefore I wouldn’t be able to use my palpation skills to assess for improvement in a dog. Secondly it definitely put me into my flight and fight part of the nervous system, causing me to tense because of the pain, it has left me with very bad back, neck and shoulder pain. Luckily I was seeing my massage therapist so this has been sorted. However something to consider for a dog having shock wave therapy. Finally it hurts like hell! 🤪
Would love to hear from any practicing therapists on this therapy. 😁
I will report back in 3 weeks time on the success of my therapy! 🤞🤞🤞
A shock wave is an extremely strong pressure wave that pulses for a very short time (circa 10 milliseconds). The pulse is so strong, it breaks the sound barrier and creates the shockwave that transfers into the designated area of the body. The use of shock wave therapy (ESWT) has been around for many years and its uses are plentiful. The way it works is by interacting with tissues creating microfractures, which in turn cause a new inflammatory response. This effect is beneficial for tissue repair, regrowth and improved mobility.
Shock wave therapy can be used to manage chronic tend
Fantastic 4th session of our canine conditioning workshops. Well done to you and all of your amazing dogs! 👏👏👏
We worked on -
Bow - ensuring that elbows are on the floor to stretch out the triceps not load them
Sideways stepping to practice abduction and adduction of forelimbs and hind limbs. Every time your dog makes a turn they will abduct/adduct a limb. It’s also an excellent warm up exercise for any dogs participating in sports.
Stretching and flexibility of the neck and forelimbs in good form.
Alex talked a lot about nail care ( nails should always be off the floor!) 😍 and how important your dogs dew claws are when moving and how they support elbow abduction 🤩🤩🤩
Absolutely love our conditioning winter workshops!
