Located at the rear of the Garden Centre, see a large collection of Owls, Hawks and Falcons plus a Meet the baby Owls and Hawks.

The Centre is located at the rear of Gardenlands Garden Centre, situated within the beautiful countryside outside the bustle of Wolverhampton. Gardenlands offers restaurant facilities as well as gardening supplies and outdoor furniture. The Centre does not provide disabled

access at this time due to the lack of paths or even ground, but we are looking to make the entire site wheelchair-friendly in the future. Come see our collection of more than 50 Owls, Hawks and Falcons from over 20 species. Daily flying display at around 3:00 pm (7 days a week- weather permitting). Ask about our Hawk walks, bird experiences and sponsorship. (Gift vouchers available)

Visit Pets Corner to see the Meerkats, Chinchillas, Chipmunks, Rabbits (who currently have babies), Rats and of-course our beloved baby Raccoons! Down on the Farm, you can see our Goats, Sheep (Lulu the lamb is all grown up!), Pig, Poultry, Donkeys and Llama. You can buy food to feed the farm for £1 from the entrance. Entrance charge is for the whole day so look around the rest of the craft village and return for another look at these magnificent creatures.

What a busy time we had yesterday. It was great to see so many people at the centre enjoying their day. One little girl really did get up close and personal with a few of our animals. Think she had a good day !

What a day it's been !!! Daisy our gorgeous donkey had her foal yesterday. A lovely pure black filly who is so cute you could munch her. Her name is Phoenix and she's sticking close to mum at the moment but they are well at home in their new stable full of everything they need.

This is my own little beauty. Meet Willow, who is an American Barn Owl. Being American he's obviously bigger by an inch at least and certainly heavier than his British counterpart. But - we won't let that dim the pleasure of teaching this little darling to fly to me.

The children break up from school this week so why not pay us a visit at our new site at Gardenlands Garden Centre. We have the most adorable baby rabbits, baby raccoons and a whole host of other cute animals that the children can get up close and personal with. We have toilet facilities on site and there is a cafe in the Garden Centre so why not pay us a visit soon.

Say hello to the new owl babies. We have an adorable pair of Great Grey Owls which we will be training to fly in a display. These owls when fully grown have a wingspan of about 55 inches so will look magnificent in flight. Then we have the sweetest American Barn Owl which is slightly larger than our British Barn Owl and then we have a very cross looking owl who does not look like he takes any prisoners !!

If any of our friends fancy a lovely day out why not pop along to the Plough at Trysull on Saturday 18th July between 12 and 6pm. It's re-opening under new management and they have all sorts of fun things lined up for families to do. We will be there with a selection of our amazing animals for everyone to hold and fuss over so do come along as it's going to be fun fun fun !!!

What an amazing afternoon we had today. We went to Springdale School in Warstones for their summer fete and it was superb. Such lovely people and I think Rossi the Racoon fell in love with a soldier !!

Just want to thank Wrockwardine Garden Club for inviting us to give a talk on our animals. It was a great evening and we had Helen talking about Fudge, a buzzard, Sophie talking about snakes, Larry talking about Sky, a common Buzzard and Jay talking about Racoons. Oh and not forgetting the boss who talked on.... and on.... and on......about everything else, We had Theo the European Cinnamon fox cub running around the hall and I think the audience really enjoyed holding and petting all the animals we took so if you know anyone or a club of some sort who would like us to come along with our animals we would be more than happy to do so.

Oakie our beloved Barn Owl just loves his flying sessions and this weather, albeit great for us humans, is not so great for owls so our little birdie needs to keep cool so he gets a nice cool spray every day which he loves. He then spends the next few hours sorting his feathers out ready to fly again. He scrubs up well does our Oakie.

Just to let everyone know that we will be at Springdale Summer Fete on Saturday 4th July 2pm - 4pm. We will have all types of animals for you to hold and also our beautiful owls We also have Skip our adorable donkey with us to give rides to the children. Do come along and hold and pet an animal or put the falconers glove on and hold a bird of prey on your hand. We only require a small donation from you for this amazing treat. See you all there. 😄🔆👍

I know we have had Ladies Day at Ascot with some amazing hats but I think Sophie's hat beats them all hands down (or should that be heads up...) this is one very inquisitive and active snake !!

Look what we have got.... Meet Bramble, our newest addition to the centre. He is so beautifully marked and its going to be an absolute pleasure to train him.

This our beautiful donkey Daisy who lives happily alongside Skip our other donkey in their large enclosure. She is expecting a happy event in a few months so we are all very excited about the new arrival. Keep checking facebook.........

SOS!

We urgently need newspaper to line animal cages and bird boxes. If you have any old newspapers you we just going to throw away, please bring them in with you when you come to visit. We get through several newspapers every day and are constantly in need of a supply!

Unfortunately the centre will not be open tomorrow (28th May). As you know, we are entirely run by volunteers and sadly there are not enough volunteers to provide a safe and enjoyable customer experience tomorrow. Business as usual on Friday!

Its exam season again, but why not come down to our newly opened centre for some cuddles with the extremely popular baby raccoons to destress this half term? The staff are certainly very relaxed!

It's Thursday so only 2 days till we open up for visitors again yippeeeee

We have a new addition to the Centre. He's a chocolate coloured Llama and he's stunning. He seems quite happy in with our adorable donkeys Daisy and Skip. I hope he likes visitors ! Pete meanwhile loves trying to undo the knot on his outdoor perch and alongside Budgie has a great view over the centre. These two have missed all the visitors so do come and say hi to them again. It's going to be so exciting having people around again. Can't wait !

4 days and counting.

I do hope you will come and see our new baby raccoon called Azalea. She's about 6 weeks old and Karl is totally in love with her. We also had a visitor called Bramble who is the cutest baby barn owl you have ever seen. And, he just loves his teddy !!

6 DAYS Till we open to the public again.

It will be fantastic to see people round the centre again and we have lots of tiny baby rabbits and chinchillas for you to see. Plus, after a hard days grafting Larry had his reward by flying Nickel, and Boboshka, our huge Turkmanian Eagle Owl is enjoying the sun. Roll on Saturday !

Just can't keep still can he. He bounces around all day without a care in the world. The new baby goats are a joy to watch so why not come along and see them. We re-open 27th April at 11am and It will be great to have visitors again.

And what do I do with this thing, play football.... roll it round the floor till it turns into something else.... Oh, it's for eating is it....you could have said !!

For those people who saw Judy the pig in her small old home, here she is in her new home with all the space and shrubbery a pig could wish for.

Oh don't you just wish you were a meerkat !! Here is Pen and Ink, our adorable meerkats, just lazing the day away playing and sunning themselves under their heat lamp. Not for them the snow and cold winds of winter !

Meet Ozzy, our young Cockatoo. The cold, wet weather has not dampened his spirits and by the looks of things, he's a fan of rock music!

Now these two have got to be the sweetest little meerkats ever. Pen is the brown one and Ink is the greyish one. They loved having a playful session on our table and both appear to love mealworms - so much so, they both tried getting into the carton at the same time !!! Ps. There is an Amazon Parrot joining in with the laughter too.

Go on Sid, squeeze really, really hard......

If you have never seen Pablo, our South American Cara Cara in one of our flying displays, your missing out on a really amusing performance. She's feisty, incredibly quick, and very, very vocal.

You know, there are days when Pete is a big old softy and loves a good fuss and tickle and there are days when he can give you the perfect manicure with his beak...... This is obviously a "good fuss" day.....

For those who wonder what one of our "Hawk Walks" involve, well this is Helen our Volunteer with Hazel, our Superior Harris Hawk out on a walk. This could be you calling this beautiful bird to your hand. Check out our web site for more information.

Looks like our little Rowan is finding his wings as well as his feet. He'll soon be flying all over the place.....

A girl'a gotta do what a girl's gotta do. It's hard work keeping yourself shipshape and beautiful.....

Just look at our baby Snowy Owl. Not so tiny now is he ! He can certainly eat too !

Isn't she the cutest thing ever ! This is our little albino hedgehog who just loves mealworms. She happily pops her head out to let the visitors see her little pink nose and eyes as most people have never seen an albino hedgehog. She just knows she's special.

If you have never seen one of our bird of prey displays at the Centre, your missing out on birds like our Pablo here who, is a dab hand at turning yoghurt pots over to get to the meat underneath. He runs about so fast and Karl and Pablo have this game where Karl holds onto the meat and Pablo tries to get it from him - it's fun to watch. We do the shows at 3pm weather permitting so come along and watch both Karl and Pablo in action.
