可愛的 18歲半貓嫲嫲，上個月切除了乳腺腺癌，現在恢復得理相，看起來仍然是個漂亮不老的淑女。

她媽媽把她照顧得很好。每個人時不時都需要休息一下。 Co Co 目前正在我們這裏留宿，直到她心愛的主人從絲綢之路之旅歸來。

Cute little 18.5 years old granny, who has her mammary adenocardinoma removed last month, has recovered well. She remains a fine looking and ageless lady.
Her mom has taken good care of her. Everyone needs a break every now and then. Co Co is currently boarding with us until her beloved owner return from a trip to the Silk Road.

Thanks to the almighty entity that has kindly answered to our prayers and our relentless efforts trying to keep this little champ alive as comfortably as we possibly could.
Louis is currently slightly more active than before and will continue to be a little fighter for his remaining beautiful existence with us.

Hang in there Louis. After blood transfusion your stamina returns significantly, but the azotemia necessitates IV trips for effective diuresis.
Rest more, dear. You can roam freely around again soon.

路易斯的病情時好時壞。隨著液體注射、攝取量的增加，它會清除血液中更多的含氮廢物，但也會稀釋身體的紅血球。其衰竭的腎臟產生新紅血球的能力有限。

路易斯的眼神還有很強的求生意欲,他的朋友仔也不容許他離開。

Louis’s condition waxes and wanes. With increased fluid administration it clears off more nitrogenous wastes from its system, but it also dilutes its red cells. Its failing kidneys also have a limited capacity to produce new red cells.

Louis’s eye tells us he is not ready to die yet . His friends also will not allow it.

Fortunately we are able to purchase two bags of packed red cells to prolong your survival.

Thanks to Buddha, Jesus and the almighty Mother Nature, against all the odds our dear Louis is still surviving and delighted to be alive. May all critically-ill and senile animals be blessed with a pain-free and Zen life.
(Zen is a school of Buddhism which emphasises the practice of meditation as the key ingredient to awakening ones inner nature, compassion and wisdom)

一隻18歲的唐貓女寶貝，發現有幾個疑似乳腺腫塊已有1/2年多一點，並且她患有慢性腎病，因此如果腫塊大小不變或處於休眠狀態，年紀又比較大，我們不建議進行根治性乳腺切除手術。

然而，最近兩週，它的尺寸明顯增大並開始潰爛。
主人權衡利弊，決定在造成進一步問題之前將其拆除。
三個腫塊被切除，這位老太太從給予最低程度的麻醉中慢慢恢復過來。
有待組織病理學結果。

A 18 years old female domestic short hair queen was having a suspected mammary lump for slightly over 1/2 years, and she has concurrent chronic renal disease, therefore we do not recommend radical mammary gland removal if the mass stayed the same size or dormant.

However, the last 2 weeks it has significantly increase in size and started to ulcerate.
Owner weighed pros and cons, decided to have it remove before it would cause any further problem.
Three masses were removed and this old lady recovered uneventfully from minimally administered anesthesia.
Awaiting histopathology result to determine the next steps.

經過五天的靜脈注射,路易斯的氮血症略有改善，輸血後貧血也減輕了，可是仍然是非常的差。
熱愛自由的路易斯現在可以享受沒有靜脈注射和沒有繃帶的日子。
儘管精神比較差及好易攰, 他還是很高興能自由地走來走去跟他的貓貓朋友陪伴。
在他剩下不長的日子裡，每個人都給他很多擁抱和寵愛。

After five days on intensive fluids and medications, his azotemis has only improved slightly and less anemic after the blood transfusion.
Adventurous Louis can now enjoy his days without IV drips and bandages roaming freely in the clinic.
Despite being lethargic , he is happy to be with his friends. In his remaining days, everyone is giving lots of cuddles and pampers to him.

路易斯你要堅持住。
經過幾天的點滴及輔助性針藥治療後，他開始有少少胃口，但仍然非常虛弱。他好奇和大膽的天性成功地說服了我們放他出來，讓他其他診所的貓一起散步和玩耍，但寶貝你絕對需要做的就是休息，我親愛的孩子。看見你如此昏昏欲睡，但你的求生意志卻如此強烈，真是令人心碎。

Louis, hang in there!
After a few days of fluid therapy and supportive treatment, he eats a little bit better , but is still very weak. His inquisitive and daring nature successfully persuaded us to let him out of his cage walk and play around with other clinic cat buddies, but all you need to do is rest my dear boy. It’s heart breaking to see you so lethargic yet your will to live is so strong.

Pls enjoy your buffet in the meantime.

路易斯4 年前就已經係一隻病危的貓貓。
在過去的幾個月裡，儘管我們努力透過支持性液體和腎臟補充劑、抗蛋白尿藥物、以及注射促紅血球生成素來刺激他終末期腎病的紅血球合成來維持他的生命，但他的病情在過去幾個月裡時好時壞，可是他從沒有放棄過。
他變得如此貧血和氮質血症，所以他再進行點滴時，必須輸血。

撇開費用成本不談，由於供應緊張，我無法從其他廿四小時設施購買血包。如果沒有血，他昨天應該已經死去。

感謝一位好心的捐血者允許我們從他健康的男貓身上抽取挽救生命的血液，路易斯收到了50 毫升的全血和靜脈輸液以及支持藥物，希望這個小戰士能夠再快樂地活多幾週或幾個月，才離開我們去貓星球。

Louis is a critically sick cat since 4 years ago. His condition waxes and wanes the past few months despite we are trying hard to keep him alive with supportive fluids and kidneys supplementation anti-proteinuric drugs and erythropoietin injection to stimulate red cells synthesis in his end stage kidney disease.
There’s no reason one should stop his will for survival, but he became so anemic and azotemic that he must put on drips with blood products.

Setting costs aside, blood bags are not readily available through most 24 hours facilities. Without the blood, he will definitely pass away yesterday.
Thanks to a kind blood donor who allow us to take the life-saving-blood from his healthy boy, Louis’s received 50 ml of whole blood and IV fluids and supportive medicine, hope this little fighter can continue to live for a few more weeks or months before he enters the next stage in his existence , eternal peace.

MissBB小姐，11歲的可愛雌性松鼠狗女，今天來複診，適逢是牠的生曰。
她顯然不喜歡被提醒她多大了。在給我們一個短暫的美麗微笑後，她毫不猶豫地向我們展示了她憤怒、裸露牙齒、咆哮的臉😅。

Miss BB , a cute 11 years old female Pomeranian, has her birthday today at her revisit. She apparently doesn’t like to be reminded how old she is .
She doesn’t hesitate to show us her angry face with growling teeth after giving us a short-lasting beautiful smile 😊

這是一個美麗地老去的英俊貓貓的例子。
明明叔叔今年已經16歲了，看起來聰明又快樂。
感謝一位年輕漂亮的女士客戶織了一條時髦的領結圍巾，為這位貓貓的老伯增添了一絲懷舊的氣息。

What an example of a beautifully aging handsome boy Ming Ming. Uncle Ming Ming reaching 16-years-old this year and looking smart and happy.
Thanks to a young pretty lady client who knitted his trendy bowtie scarf, added a nostalgic vibe to this ordinary feline senior.

一隻完全健康的三歲唐狗女從三個月大起就被收養，最近一年表現出行為問題、不服從、護食、恐懼攻擊和聲稱工人多次被咬傷。

家傭是法定監護人，主人毫不猶豫地叫家傭帶狗女來人道毁滅來解決家庭問題。

當這一切發生時，真正的主人正在歐洲度假一周，逃避糟糕的場景和回憶。

很抱歉，這是堅決反對安樂死!
由於缺乏指導、愛和紀律而草率地結束動物生命的想法讓我們深感悲痛……。

不幸的是，這種暴行在我們的社會中是完全合法的。當一個毛孩的家庭成員被分配一個攻擊性或頑皮的標籤時，它可能會被安樂死。

請不要寵壞您的狗，不要讓它出現攻擊性或不良行為，這可能會導致其家人或照顧者萌生大膽的安樂死去處決毛孩。

A perfectly healthy three years old mongrel bitch which was adopted since 3 months old was exhibiting behavioural problems recently , namely disobedience , fear aggression , food guarding and biting other 3 helpers.
One domestic helper was conveniently appointed as the legal guardian to represent the dog’s owner to solve this family’s problem by putting the dog to sleep without the slightest hesitation.

While all this was happening , the true owners are on holidays in Europe for a week, evading the bad scene and memories .

We are sorry, this a solid NO for euthanasia!

The idea of selfishly ending an animal’s life due to lack of guidance , love and discipline just deeply saddens us ….
Such atrocity unfortunately are perfectly legal in our society . A furred family member could be put to sleep when it is assigned an aggressive or mischievous tag.

Pls do not spoil your dog and allowing aggressive or undesirable behaviours to manifest that could lead to the audacity to consider euthanasia.

今天有一隻可愛的小幼貓因輕微嘔吐和無精打采而進來檢查。 X 光檢查無異常。
懷疑小寶貝飲食消化不良，輕度胃腸炎，給予了輔助性治療。
牠很喜歡坐在為小狗量身定制的小墊子，並拒絕離開墊子呢。😅

A cute little kitten came in today due to mild vomiting and listlessness. X ray findings are unremarkable. Dietary indigestion, mild gastroenteritis were suspected. Kitten was treated with symptomatic treatment.
Kitten is loving the tiny tailored made puppy cushions, and refusing to set her feet off it. 😅

可愛的路易斯和我們一起進入第四年了。儘管他是隻病貓，及正在服用多種藥物及皮下注射，希望這個小傢伙能愉快地多活很多年。☺️

Cute Louis stepping into the forth year with us. Despite he is quite sick ，requiring subcutaneous fluid regularly and on lots of medicine , hope this little fellow will continue to live happily for many years. ☺️

一隻年輕的敘利亞倉鼠因持續幾天的頭部傾斜導致減少在跑輪活動、行路歪歪下、活動減少。懷疑內耳感染引致前庭疾病、中毒或腦膜炎。
經過一週的症狀治療後，這隻可愛的毛茸茸的倉鼠康復了，並回覆了日常的跑輪及活潑的跑來跑去。

A young Syrian hamster was presented for head tilting of a few days duration causing imbalances and decreased activity on its running wheel. Inner ear infection causing vestibular signs, toxicity or meningitis were suspected. After a week of symptomatic treatment this cute fluffy hamster recovered and resumed its daily running wheel and boisterous activities.

今天一隻薑黃色的唐貓女來例行檢查，路易斯忍不住跟他長得很像的妹妹打招呼。牠們非常可愛，即使是經驗豐富的眼睛也可能會誤認為牠們是同一對。家貓是上天最美麗的創造物之一。

Today a ginger cat came in for routine check ups ,Louis couldn’t help to say hi to his look alike sister . They are absolutely adorable and even the experienced eyes might mistaken them as one and other. Domestic cats are one of god’s most beautiful creations.

一隻可愛的法國鬥牛犬寶貝來檢查身體。這隻小狗有輕微腹瀉，賈第鞭毛蟲檢測呈陽性。希望一劑量的短期的抗原蟲藥物能幫助小狗擺脫這種寄生蟲。

A cute little French bull dog puppy came on for body check . This puppy had mild diarrhoea and tested strongly positive for Giardia. Hopefully a short course of anti-protozoan medicine will rid little puppy of this parasites.

這些12歲的本地唐貓仔最近有嚴重的體重減輕、間歇性嘔吐和腹瀉。寶貝目前正在接受症狀治療，等待診斷結果，他的近似雙胞胎兄弟路易斯正在給予精神支持。快點好起來。

This 12 years old domestic short hair boy sufferes from severe weight loss , chronic vomiting and diarrhoea. This fellow is currently receiving symptomatic treatment pending diagnostic results , Louis his twin alike unrelated brother , is giving spiritual support. Get well soon.

This handsome cham was such a sweet boy at clinic but his mother is saying otherwise. Truly a home feisty but clinic friendly cat.

一隻生病的「英勇」雛鳥因多處被動物咬傷和一條腿跛行而被帶作檢查。經過一週的藥物治療和一位有善良靈魂的小姐的溫柔關愛，牠恢復得很好，並開始進食並拍打小翅膀以增強肌肉。

“Valiant”, a young sick fledgling was presented for multiple punctured lacerations and a limping leg. After a week of medication and tender loving care from a damsel with the kindest soul, it recovered well and began to eat and flapped its tiny wings to strengthen up its muscles .

A gorgeous bi colour Devon Rex was presented for chronic upper respiratory symptoms and recently developed unilateral blepharospasm and epiphora.
We suspect it has herpes and chlamydial infection.
Hopefully this kitten will regain her full health and beauty after a course of medicine.

看看這個星球上最可愛的臉。這小寶貝因為吃了不知名的杜蟲藥後有肚瀉甚至脫水，今天來找我們。建議主人從獸醫診所購買杜蟲藥,不明來源不清楚成份及份量的杜蟲藥，可能會令一隻脆弱的小狗感到不適。

look at the cutest face on the planet. This puppy visited us today for diarrhoea and mild dehydration. Little one was having deworming of unknown source or ingredient, which could possibly induce tummy upset or toxicity to such a little fragile puppy.

上週出院的犬瘟熱小寶貝，在家中表現尚算良好，有輕微持續性肌陣攣，體重沒有增加。今天複診時進行了血液檢查，顯示仍然因吸收不良和同化不良而引起輕度貧血、及仍然有炎症。
小寶貝你需要繼續吃更多的東西，並獲得力量才能生存。
你仍然是很頑皮呢。

The distemper puppy that was discharged last week was doing fine at home despite with mild persistent myoclonus and he failed to put on weights.
On blood test still revealed mild inflammation and mild anemia due to malabsorption and malassimilation.
Little one needs to continue to eat more and gain strength to survive.
You are still a cheeky little boy.

一隻三個月大的柴犬幼寶貝，因為嚴重狗瘟感染而接受第二診斷意見。
小寶貝出現食慾不振、氣喘、流鼻水，並表現出中樞神經症狀。
牠有不自主的肌肉抽搐/肌陣攣和舞蹈症。
經過幾天的深切治療及護理，牠慢慢好轉並能夠自行進食。
然而，出現中樞神經症狀的小狗通常會在2-3週內因嚴重的神經系統影響而死亡。
願上帝憐憫這個小孩，使牠能夠生存並對這種極度致命的病毒性疾病產生終身免疫力。

A three months old Shiba Inu puppy was presented for second opinion for severe canine distemper infection.
Puppy was inappetent, panting, sneezing and exhibiting central nervous signs.
It has involuntary muscle twitching /myoclonus and chorea.
After few days of intensive treatment and supportive care, it slowly improves and able to eat by itself.
However the puppy with CNS signs usually will succumb to disease in 2-3 weeks due to severe nervous disturbances.
May god show mercy to this little fellow so that he survives and develops life long immunity against this nasty viral disease

主人發現一隻年輕的雄性荷蘭侏儒兔最近有奇怪的笑容，因此主人帶他來看醫生。
他有門牙咬合不正和輕度臼齒生骨刺。修剪和磨牙後，希望這個小兔子很快就能恢復食慾及能展示漂亮的笑容。

A young male Netherland dwarf rabbit was presented because the owner discovered that he has a strange smile.
It had malocclusion of the incisors and mild molar spurs . After trimming and filing hopefully this little fellow will resume its appetite and handsome smile in no time.

Despite he is on multiple medicines everyday and twice weekly subcutaneous fluids injection and numerous supplements for anemia. It seems effortless seeing this cheeky boy happily chilling and bullying other clinic cats everyday. May god bestow another few more years of wonderful life upon him.
