Kind words from Punchestown Horse Trials. Don't forget to make your entries for the Try Eventing event on the eventing Ireland website! JumpX entries will be taken on the day. Event starts at 3pm.

Try eventing and jumpX will consist of 8 showjumping fences, continuing immediately with 10-15 straightforward cross county fences. Height of classes .80,90,1m. All courses open to jump from 3pm.Try eventing runs at the same time from 3pm, dressage times will be allocated.

We have decided to run a jumpX class on Wednesday the 12th July to run along side the Try Eventing Event. Open to all. Perfect for anyone who does not want to do a dressage test but still school over jumps! Entries are €30 and will be taken on the day.

We will be hosting a "Try Eventing" day with Eventing Ireland here in Belmont Demesne Equestrian on the 12th of July. It will be a great day out for anyone wanting to give Eventing a try. Schooling days in Belmont Demesne on Sunday 16th and Monday 17th of April. Come and school on a flagged cross country course for €25 a horse. We will be open from 10am till 4pm both days.

We are nearly all set for Sunday! The course is looking fantastic and will be open from 12-5pm Saturday to walk and we will be take entries.

We are getting geared up for the Hunter Trials and Team Hunt Chase on Sunday.

HUNTER TRIALS HAVE BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO A CHANGE IN WEATHER AND SAFETY CONCERNS.

Anyone who has already entered can collect their refund TOMORROW 10am - 4pm and must bring their Bib Number Chit with them.

We will decide on a new date in the next few day's.

L.E. Animal Feeds will have a stand tomorrow selling whips, gloves and other essentials so don't panic if you forget anything. They are also sponsoring the prizes.

Open- yellow with black numbers
Novice- Green with white numbers
Pre-Novice - White with Red Numbers
Hunt Chase - White with Black Numbers

We have been enjoying the sunny weather and have the course flagged, numbered and rolled. The ground is very very dry at the moment so looking forward to a bit of rain so the going will be perfect for Sunday!
Course will be open to walk on Saturday at 1-6pm and we will be taking entries.
We will be starting at 9:30am sharp Sunday morning.
