Teaching a Mouthing puppy during teething phase to what they can chew on and what they can’t. This can be done with corrections & with distractions to set the boundaries at young age. 🐾🐾💕

Many repetitions of obedient sitting, at the door needs practice-without allowing your dog to jump & greet the guests walking into the house. Bella and Chloe had a successful start for their 1st session.

Arabella’s initial ONLINE training was all about practising her ‘come’, ‘sit', ‘paw’ and 'down'🐶
These basic cues will be vital throughout Arabella’s training.

Vision Loss is not detrimental factor for Leo & daily training sessions have proofed the commands Left / Right / Stop with a 100 % response. 👍🏻Important not to change the layout of the furniture so Leo’s navigation is accident free. 🐾🐾

A vision loss at a prime age of 5 years plus is frustrating and Leo is responding positively on being trained for nose work & listen to commands viz. Left / Right / Settle / Stop / Easy / Careful / Slow / Back Back etc. In fairness to me & parents of Leo we have been training him as a team so he stays safe and happy. 💕🐾🐾🙌

Teaching puppies that mouthing people & biting on their clothes is not an acceptable behaviour. It's our job to show our puppies an alternative behaviour that satisfies the puppies drive to bite so as to correct the puppies behaviour. There are a number of alternatives & this is one of them.

The focus cue “LOOK” provides the owner with their dog’s undivided attention as the puppy gives a positive eye contact.
It is a step by step process that is worth the effort once the cue has been mastered.
Other phrases that can be used are Watch,Watch Me.

Is your puppy mouthing / biting. Try training the puppy for the OFF command. This command works positively once the puppy is trained.

Note: Responsible parents will never walk their dogs off-leash in narrow lanes & busy roads.

We had a great training day with Spark. We covered basic obedience commands followed by the command Speak (to Bark) on cue.

Once you feel your dog has made the connection between the quiet command and being quiet and getting a treat, start adding a pause of a couple seconds before giving the treat.

❓ Do you have a reactive dog ❓
This pup 🦮 is reactive to kids, cycles, motorbikes etc. After a 20 mins session we got a very positive response from the pup as he chose to settle & not to chase the cycle.
A perfect start and we still have a long way to go 🐾🐾
