🦄 ☀️ TE RAPA RACES TODAY ☀️🦄

The sprinting star ⭐️ of last season FIRST FIVE returns to the track today fresh up in the Group 2 Foxbridge Plate at 4.20pm.

Delighted to get a soft 6 (although he would love it firmer) reading this morning which will allow him to get this vital run in before the Proisir Plate in a couple of weeks.

W Pinn stays aboard and we jump from gate 4. There’s sure to be plenty of speed early from this cracking line up of horses. Hopefully 🙏 he can be running on strong 💪🏻 at the line.

Unleashing some of our promising spring brigade today.
3 really nice horses 🐎, won a race a piece but have shown loads of ability in most of their other starts.

R2 - Rating 75 1100m

#5 BETHANY DEE (6) W Pinn
Up in grade but carries a low weight.
Lovely, honest mare who’s shown plenty of talent in her races to date.
Should be very competitive in the small field today.

#7 VICTOR TANGO (1) W Kennedy
Same story stepping up a rating and carrying just the 54kg.
Still very much learning his craft but he’s pretty good when he gets it right.
Again, capable of being right there on the line.

R8 - Rating 65 1400m

#1 SWEET ICE (4) W Kennedy
‘Frosty’ had a decent 3yo campaign, ending with 5th in the NZ Derby last start in March.
He’s had a good break and looks bigger and stronger now as a 4yo. Is a genuine good tracker so hopefully stays dry today.
Could give cheek fresh
