I won't be walking the dogs this week.🐕

It is my birthday 🥳 on Wednesday so I am having that day to myself and so was going to be walking Thursday, however we are due for 35 mls of 💦💦!

Will be back with them next week.

Pack two of Marley, Daisy, Koda & Blue.

My friend Lisa joined me for this walk and we went stream-side.
Daisy was quite curious of Lisa from a distance, watching her when we stopped and were speaking and having her in sight when walking.

Full wardrobe change and WW on as taking no risks!
Nice temperature with gentle drizzle to gentle rain made for dogs with springs in their paws

Pack two - Virgil, Koda, Blue & Daisy2

Weather looked good so I braved leaving WW gear behind and attempted the biiiig hill.
Thwarted on both accounts!
Abandoned the hill 1/2 way up and ran the last 3km home with breaks under trees for shelter and breath gathering as it teemed!

Koda and Daisy2 had a fast friendship so I had 3 players and cruisey Blue-dog.

Pack one - Torvi, Jess, Marley & Suki

A walk with all weathers. Had my full WW kit on and sweated 1/4 way in so off loaded to pick up later - got wet in between and then we had full sun walking out — hard to predict!

Pack two - Leesie, Luna, Suki, Gracie, Jess & Daisy the 2nd rejoined us after being away for a few months.

Daisy is a delightful girl who loves other dogs and water! Look forward to her and Marley together — wonder if the wallowing hole will be big enough for them both!

A happy scenting crew

Koda finally figured out that Torvi wasn’t one to be playing and that Daisy had been offering play over the walk .. 10 mins to the end they were game on!

Rain rain rain continued!

A pretty cruisey grouping that stayed mostly close together.

Much wetter up in them there hills than the village but the dogs were amped with the rain, cooler temps and elevated smells.

Pack three - Jess, Daisy, Gracie & Suki

This was the first time Gracie and Suki had met and Gracie took Suki’s herding in her stride and over the walk I could see a dog-friendship developing between them which is very cute as Suki is very discerning.

A happy crew of individuals, Leesie was, as always, joyous to be with us and Luna keeps close enough to be able to check in keeping up! Koda and Virgil - well those two are such good friends that play starts in the boot from the moment they are both in there!

A wee selection from today.

A cool start with frost on the window screen and gloves required for the first pack, but even then the morning held the promise of a good day …. and it delivered.
Even still good for a dip in the RDR at the end!

A roller coaster of harmony and tension permeated this pack. It was an energy today to be very present with for me. They have all been together before, however, like us, they have their days!

A wee selection from today, which is my 1 year anniversary of offering this service here in Methven.

This day of the week fills my soul 💕💕💕

It was perfect walking weather with a 4 degree start to a max of 18 and sunshine with a nice breeze.

Connection of the day goes to to Virgil and Gracie - first time meeting and besties from the get-go.
Lovely to have the delightful Jess back with us.

I enjoyed the refreshing cold of the RDR before hitting the couch!

Weiss was excited to meet Gracie … I feel she thinks she is a wee version of her!

Marley and Daisy are good playmates however today Daisy wasn’t up for engaging in all Marley’s invitations to play and was happy to hang out with me.

A busy pack but mostly stayed together

Koda was fan-girling on Torvi as she hadn’t seen her since last year but then she decided Virgil actually wanted to play so harmony was attained.
Torvi is very much her own dog on her own mission and she is very patient with young dogs!

Pack 3 was Lessie, Luna, Weiss & Flash

Our walk stared at 21° and ended at 14°.
The intention was to do the big hill walk, however when we got to “The space”, the cloud had enveloped the top of the big hill, so we opted for a variation of the stream walk.

Thankful for shade and clear water for the 1st 2 packs.
The cloud rolled in for the final group thwarting our “biiig hill” route (not that I needed much convincing!!)

Young Gracie joined the group walks from today and she was awesome.
