I’ve always been super passionate about 🐶nutrition, having seen the massive difference that good quality food could make to many of my patients over the years. I also wanted to create a premium quality NZ made pet food, as when I was previously running 2 vet clinics

I struggled to find anything NZ made. So much of our pet food comes from overseas, which for an agricultural nation like NZ makes no sense to me! The other thing that drives me is that there is just so much nonsense on the internet about pet food. It is so confusing for consumers and I wanted to create a brand that would cut through that noise and create products that are well formulated, backed by the latest nutrition science and that pet owners can trust. Genius Pet Food is formulated using the latest research and advice from Veterinarians and Animal Nutritionists Worldwide, to produce a diet that optimises the health and longevity of your pet by ensuring the full range of essential amino acids are available to maximise nutrient absorption from the gut and to maintain heart health. I don't believe this is the best way to feed our pets. So I’ve created a better pet food. One that is made from the quality protein grown right here in New Zealand, in our free range farming systems, that don't rely on large amounts of antibiotics to keep animals healthy, and under our stringent animal welfare laws. Its made from New Zealand Lamb meat, peas, potatoes, Lamb meal, Flax seed meal, Possum meat and H**p seed oil. It has added vitamins and minerals for 100% complete and balanced nutrition and is naturally preserved with Rosemary oil. It’s high in protein and enriched with essential omega fatty acids.
