It’s a CaThursday home service. These six 3 month old BLH kittens got their initial 4in1 vaccine and 3rd deworming. Five 1 month old BLH kittens just received their 1st deworming today! Stay cute and fluffy! 😻

Another case of blood parasitism. Triple infection of blood parasites in which Tyler, a 9-year old Belgian Malinois tested positive in Anaplasma, Babesia and Ehrlichia. CBC revealed iron deficiency anemia.

Tyler is recovering well now. ❤️

Eggsy, a 1-year-old Persian cat, has cryptorchidism. Cryptorchidism is a condition where one or both testicles fail to descend into the sc***um. It is the most common reproductive disorder in male cats. The condition has a genetic basis and can be inherited from either parent. If only one testicle is affected, the cat will still be fertile.

In Eggsy's case, he has inguinal cryptorchidism (an undescended testicle located in the inguinal area). Neuter was promptly performed.

Patient is 6 month old Siamese with no vaccine, was very lethargic, no appetite, CBC revealed anemia and thrombocytopenia. Owner said that all his cats we’re already manifesting same symptoms. 😿

Patient came all the way from San Mateo Rizal, pinaabot pa sarili niya dito sa clinic bago siya nawalan ng buhay. 😢

The dog was sick for almost a week, had no appetite but was force-fed (cerelac) by the owner. Paracetamol was also given to the dog in high dose. Obvious yellow discoloration of eyes, skin and gums (icterus or jaundice) was observed. Upon history taking, dog vomited blood before arriving. *Suspected Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) Toxicity.

Strong gentle reminder to all pet owners:
DO NOT SELF MEDICATE. Bring your pets to the nearest vet clinic in cases of life threatening illness that needs to be address immediately.
