Amarillo, we have a problem.
We got started in 2019 thanks to our parent clinic in Wichita Falls. Even with 24,000 spay and neuter surgeries so far, we still have work to do. According to the statistics posted by our city shelter over 3,700 animals were euthanized in Amarillo alone in 2023.
Sargent came waltzing into the P.E.T.S. Clinic without his owner. He was wearing a tag and was microchipped. He was also sporting a harness with his name on it! I love to be able to use their name to comfort them while we wait on their mom or dad to get there!
His dad came right away and was so grateful he bought the staff lunch!💚🐾
Winter Sweater Drive!
Donations accepted in clinic Monday-Thursday before 5 pm, on Fridays between 10-2, and Saturday Clinic between 10-2. (December 16th, January 20th and February 17th).
All proceeds go to our friends The Dog Food Guy to pass out with dog food to benefit our homeless friends.
"Who's gonna tell him his tail is not a toy?"
It was unanimously decided no one at PETS was gonna blab to Kaloni and burst his bubble. After all, at his age, getting neutered was easy peasy.
Cats mature so fast, and the abundance of felines in our community is proof.
Call us today, and let's keep your fun felines from turning into spraying, baby making machines!

By the time we had our fourth birthday, 19,238 cats and dogs had been spayed and neutered since opening on August 5, 2019.
Literally, thousands of animals have received outstanding care through our little clinic.
By this time last year, we had spayed and neutered dogs and cats: 3001
This year: 3879
By this time last year preventative care numbers: 7310
This year: 9429
We are averaging around 400 animals through our doors every week for spays, neuters, and preventative care. That’s pretty crazy.
Raider, 8 months old and 111 pounds, stopped in to get an updated weight and refill on his monthly Tri-Heart Plus.
When animals are still growing, we have to keep a good eye on their weight to ensure proper dosage of preventatives as they are all weight based.
Elora isn’t bothered by all of the construction one bit. She’s excited to show off renovations, and so are we!
Open house? Who’s in? We are close to getting more usable space to give your pets the best possible experience.
Drool
We just love seeing our patients like gentle giant Hades. He set a drool record on his neuter day.
At our clinic, we treat your pets like family and always strive to provide the best care
Do you ever wonder what is going on behind the scenes at P.E.T.S.? Well, mostly a lot of this.
Lulu heard us talking about the snow flurries outside, but she was cozy and warm inside after her spay. When it was time to go home, she just wanted more belly rubs. 💚

Bast the kitty
Bast came in for his neuter at P.E.T.S. We don't think he realized he just had surgery. What a playful fun-loving boy!
Rabies is required, but we do recommend 3 boosters as a kitten and yearly boosters thereafter.
Please don’t forget preventative flea medicine and dewormer for your felines.

Your investment in our renovations would allow us to safely serve this increased demand for our services and more. Additional space will result in even more pets and pet owners lovingly served. Since opening in August of 2019, we have served 8,858 wellness appointments along with 9,681 spay and neuters.
