With people walking past and carts zooming by, Bear remained calm and composed for a total of 11 minutes in this spot. As you watch the video, you'll see how he even extended his neck to try and smell someone who walked within two feet of him! It's amazing to witness such progress in just one week. We can't wait for Bear to reunite with his owners and continue to grow with the support of the team by his side.

Bear is making amazing progress during his two week board and train! In today's video, we see him working on his "down" command at Shiptons and doing a great job. Despite being a little nervous with people walking behind him, Bear is staying focused and responding well to leash pressure. We also see his trainer relaxing his hip, which helps him to feel more comfortable and stable in the down position. Then the trainer is able to step over him, which for a nervous is a HUGE step in the right direction!!
During a long walk at the rims, Bear encounters lots of distractions, including planes, cars, and other people. But he stays calm and focused, and there's no growling or barking at all! Overall, it's clear that Bear is building confidence and becoming more stable every day. We're so proud of him and all his hard work! 🐾👍👏🙌🎉🎥

Bear is back with another update on his training progress! so far in his two weeks of boarding and training, he's made significant strides in his door manners and heel at Tractor Supply. He even conquered his down command in the store on the first try! However, his fear of people is still present, especially with men. But his trainer is working hard to address this by redirecting him back to the command keeping his focus on the heel. It's amazing to see how much progress he's made in such a short time.
