Great fun at the Christmas party tonight hosted by KathySchultz. We didn't take pictures because we were too busy laughing, eating, drinking and stealing gifts. Love my teammates.

Things really do come full circle. In 2017, a small group of Hot Rod Hounds took a trip to the Pacific Northwest to celebrate some birthdays. I thought we'd throw a flyball tournament in there. We asked for help and first met the wonderful region 7. Apup and Stumptown ran dogs with us and Randy asked us for a team shirt. Since then multiple people from Region 7 have become our close friends. Several of them helped when Suzanne Mah, Don and I came with 4 dogs and 3 people during double points working on 2 Hobbes and getting Ella to the top English Cocker spot. Crystal Beck Fiona Harlan Christy Munro , Judy Rowlee are the ones I'm pointing out in this post though. We combined to make two open teams in Gridley that were remarkably well oiled. We earned two Iron Dogs. We ran two new green dogs. We had dogs from 5 or 6 different clubs, 4 different states. We ate well thanks to Judy. Randy finally got his shirt. We got 2 FDCH titles, Flash and Kiwi. Almost no dog errors. We got fancy, sparkly new shirts. Skye, Isla and Jack got lots of mat time. We all got to enjoy time with friendships forged by our dogs.

Flash even had a dog chasing its ball run into her lane and she handled it like a pro at her very 1st tournament. Starring Kiwi, Madison, random dog, Flash.

Late on some posts but early November Nikki McCollum and Robbin Muller brought Kiwi and Flash to "warm up" Sunday in Lodi. Due to some unforseen circumstances we were going to pull our regular team. Instead of pulling it, we decided to let Kiwi and Flash run with seasoned Madison and Ella and back up Singe. They were rockstars, earning FD and FDX. To say we are proud is an understatement. Thank you to our Bay Racers teammates for helping us accomplish this.

Yesterday after flyball practice we had the opportunity to practice disc. Our master trainer Robbin Muller was talking to Barbara Ricketts Geach about her throws. Poor Obie was just waiting for one of the 3 discs to get thrown. 😆 🤣 😂
