Strangles is in full swing! Please practice biosecurity and quarantine. (Ask your vet about the strangles vaccine)
New horse folks.. Please quarantine your new additions separate and away from your herd for a minimum of 2 weeks (most of us do a full 30 days). Make sure they cannot touch and you don’t share water buckets, pitchforks, etc. Wash your hands, change clothes and shoes between pastures or sanitize them! Please do your research! Strangles is no fun for anybody! Stay healthy. ❤️🐎

Our oldest man looking especially good this morning. Eskwyr has changed so much since he has come to Blue Haven. He’s gained weight, he acts like a teenager and the vet couldn’t be happier with his progress 😊
